We found Marina's Swim School on-line. It was pretty close to us. My kids like water, but we had a negative experience in the community swimming pool. So, we took a trial lesson (not a whole package) to try. I was watching the lesson from upstairs. They have a good view area. The staffs are very professional with a lot of patience. During the lesson teachers combine exercises and games. I saw happy faces my and other kids. The instructors created a fun atmosphere during the learning process. When I was helping my kids in the change room, they said that want to swim here several times per week. That water is very warm, the teachers are amazing. And the classes have only three students. Marina helped me to create a schedule for the kids. She recommended take two lessons per week at the beginning. And I got a family discount as well! I had a negative experience with swim lessons for my daughter. So, I took a trial lesson at Marina's Swim School first. My daughter got a lot of positive emotions during the lesson with Balraj. I decided to enroll her to the program (Bought 15 lessons). It is the most budget package. Also, they deduct the price of the trial lesson from the amount of the package. I was disappointed at the beginning, because Balraj is working only one day a week, but I booked for Rachel an another day. She got an another instructor (James). Rachel didn't want to go for swimming. But James was great. Thank you Marina's Swim School! Now Rachel is doing Level 8. She loves swimming and the atmosphere of Marina's Swim School. I took a couple lessons as well before our family vacation in September. Jania was teaching me. He is a real professional. He did a huge work during those two lessons. I have three children with very different personalities. Alexander took the time to get to know each kid individually in order to find the most successful way to teach them. With my eldest, patience was the key. Alexander knew he was unwilling to learn to swim and slowly found ways to motivate him. Now my son - who never liked water much - is swimming a very impressive butterfly and never complains about going to swim class!. My middle son is very competitive so Alexander taps that side of him and tries to find new ways to challenge him and often races him. My little girl loves to learn but needs to have fun in order to remain focused. Thus Alexander devises ways to play with her while he teaches her. I absolutely adore Marina and Alex! They are so helpful and amazing with kids! I have my two sons enrolled with Marina's Swim School and they make it look so effortless. They are so great with the boys , they provide such a safe and fun environment! The boys are always excited to go and rarely do I hear them complain about having to go. We commute all the way from Vancouver for swimming lessons, that's how much we love it there! I have told all my family and friends to skip the community center facilities because there are just too many student per instructor and I feel like my kids get way more attention and hands on instruction with Jania and Taylor! read more

Would like to give a big thank you to the team of Marina's Swim School. Our daughter started there about 2 years ago during my business trip to Vancouver and couldn't/wouldn't do anything in the pool without a floating board. She is now VERY comfortable in the water - loves diving for toys and doing flips underwater - and can do 4 (WOW) different swim strokes across a pool. I signed up for Swim lessons this spring for my nephew. he had one of their baby classes and although he didn't want to get in at first, the instructors did a good job getting him to give it a try. after the first week or two he loved it.
