Was really happy with Dr. Rosenthal here but he has left the practice. The new dentist did not inject novocaine properly. She made my lip numb, and I could taste novocaine floating around in my mouth. Then she tried to extract the tooth. When I screamed in pain, she threatened me because I was disturbing the other patients. read more

Went in Nov 2025 to fix a filling. They gave me a temporary filling which lasted about 5 days. For this service, which took less than 15 minutes, they said I owed $25, which I paid. Then, in Feb 2026, I returned for a cleaning. Afterward, I asked if I had a balance. They said "no." My wife went in about two weeks later and was again told we had no balance. Now, in March 2026 I receive a bill stating I owe $30 for "Balance Forward." I was told it is the remaining balance for the temporary filling I received in Nov. Furthermore, I was told that the insurance pair $170 for this procedure in January 2026 (before I came in for the cleaning when they told me I had no balance). I paid $25 and they say I owe another $30. This would equal $225 for a temporary filling that lasted less than a weak, while a permanent amalgam filling costs around $200 on average. Why does a temporary filling cost so much? If the insurance paid their share in January, why was I not informed then that there was a balance? If I had a balance, why was I told I did not when I asked in February? If this balance is for a service, why was that service not listed in the bill? read more

I took my 86 year old mother there for two teeth in need of extraction she was told to raise her hand if feeling uncomfortable, During the procedure my mother raised her hand and I told the Doctor to stop he did not stop he went on with the procedure pulling at her tooth my mother went unconscious I stood up and told him to STOP! He told me to sit down, My mother was taken out by Ambulance and to the hospital where she recovered This individual had no regards for my mothers well-being or mine. People with this type of disposition should never be allowed to practice Medicine on anyone anywhere. What a horrible experience. BEWARE OF THIS PRACTICE. read more

This place is the worst! They are all about the money and will string you along as long as they can to keep you coming back. If you have a cavity, they will get just enough decay out until you finally lose the tooth and they either have to crown it or do an implant. I had ONE implant and it took almost a year to complete it! I had to keep going back for this and that...one tooth they filled twice and when I was at an appt, I mentioned to the dentist that is was still hurting. She looked at it and prescribed fluoride paste...told me to put some of that up in the tooth every night and it should be fine. I called a few months later to get an appt bc it was still hurting and the receptionist told me she would book a cleaning and the dentist would come in and look at it then! What?? That's it? And that appt was a month out...so naturally the tooth has just gotten more painful! I've had more X-rays at this dentist office in a year and half than I've had in my entire life!! And I'm old! They have a high turnover of dentists, too. I definitely do NOT recommend the Akron office. read more

Great Dentist office. All the doctors and nurses are very friendly and helpful. Been going here for years. Very good with kids, have taken all 3 of my kids since they were young. My family has had regular 6 month exams, teeth removed, fillings and wisdom teeth removed from them and all have been good experiences. read more

I wouldn't recommend them. At first they seem great . Then you come back to a whole new place. If you have for example Medicaid they treat you different. But if you have an insurance you pay for they treat you a little better. But if you ask them to find you a sooner appointment because you are in pain...the staff tells you to never come back and hangs up on you . Unprofessional and rude and discriminating. read more

Very rude secretary! They proceeded to give appointment reminders through email after I told dr young that I do not check my email because it's full of spam! This lady called me at 9:12 to let me know that I missed my 9:00 appointment scheduled from 2 months ago. No phone call reminder so I forgot anyhow she put me on hold and must of asked dr young if he liked to dismiss me. Of course she did! I asked her why I was being dismissed for 1 missed appointment when the policy is usually 3 she said technically it doesn't have to be. What a joke!!!!! She's rude she needs to be fired . I just moved to this area 3 weeks ago to be closer to a parent that is in palliative care. I am due for a dental checkup and cleaning so I called Marino & Associates and made an appointment as a new patient. My father, whom is 87 years old, suffered a heart attack the morning of my dentist appointment. As I was at that hospital with my mother for nearly 3 days straight, that appointment never crossed my mind. I called Marino & Associates to reschedule and to bring them my business and was told that they cannot reschedule me because i did not call to cancel the other appointment. I didn't even try to explain. I was so caught off guard. There are many good dentists around. I won't spend another minute of my time with this outfit. They obviously don't care about people. It's all about the money. Too bad. I have never encountered such reprehensible behaviour from a "professional" office in my 50+ years. Caveat Emptor read more

You have no idea how relieved I am to finally have found a dentist office that treats me like a person and not just dollar signs! From the front desk, to the young lady that did my x-rays as well as assisting the dentist, including the dentist, I had a fantastic experience! I have to say that this is the best dentist that i have been to in my life. I came to this place suffering with high anxiety, adrenal fatigue and heart problems. These people were amazing to me and very kind. Dr Gruden is amazing!!!!! She radiates sweetness and i trust her completely. This was a completely non-judgemental atmosphere. The only issues i had with this place was that they have a female secretary that is really stuck up and always rolls her eyes at me and acts like she is superior over and she is blonde with her hair in a ponytail all the time. I try to avoid her each time i am there. The other problem is that they have an air freshener that sprays out on you. Onetime it got on me and i got a migraine really bad and had to use the scrubby part of a sponge to get it off my skin it took along time i wish they didnt use them read more

I highly do NOT recommend this place! Unprofessional, and just rude. I never had a problem at a dentist office! Until I came to this one.. my very first time they rescheduled me for being not even 5 minutes late.. 3-4 minutes late.. WOW! When I came back they took me & when I talked to the hygienist & told her they rescheduled me for being only 5 minutes late her exact words were "welll then be on time" in a very snotty tone of voice. Far worse I honestly watched one of the girls there who did the x-rays look very unpleased & picked @ her butt in front of me. I didn't confront her but I sure wanted too because as she was touching me & etc. I was wondering like I can only imagine what she does behind closed doors. Lady at front desk (heavier set woman) she also was very gross looks like a junkie her whole life & seems to be unhappy with herself.. idk how someone with that type of job title, dealing with the public can just look any way they want! I am so impressed and thankful for the staff of this office!!!! I had to take my 11 month old with me to the dentist and I was so relieved at how understanding and accommodating they all were! Just don't go to Dr. Levy. She's really insulting, has a short temper and if you're sensitive to pain she won't finish her work and will become aggressive and leave you partially finished. Also when I was using the rest room she told the other workers that they can put their keys into their pockets because I was gone. Basically said I'd steal their shitty minivans and mid year model sedans. Dr. Marino is great though and I'll never let Dr. Levy touch me again. Her attitude and hate is so unprofessional. read more

Dr Angela Marino is compassionate, caring, and exceptionally thorough. Yalanda is an extraordinary hygienist- we wouldn't think of having anyone else. She and her staff stay up to date on the newest and safest dental techniques and work hard to make sure that patient's comfort is a top priority. I called 3 times to see if they got information returned from my insurance company and each time I was told that the insurance company was not responding. On my 3rd call the lady that answered the phone gave me 2 reasons why my call was not necessary because they would inform me when they got a return from my insurance. When I explained that this was my 3rd call, she actually looked at my chart and found that my information was received yesterday. It is now 3PM and it was explained to me that I was going to receive a call today, which I seriously doubt. It seems they believe that customers who call them have no idea about anything. I am the biggest chicken in the world when it comes to Dentists, I had to get 3 teeth pulled today and my teeth where falling apart. I was scared to death and I was only sitting in the chair. The Doctors and nurses are very nice and saw that I was scared and they did everything to clam me down and to assure me that this was going to be okay, and that they are not here to hurt me. If I was feeling any pain during the work to raise my left hand and they would numb me some more. I have had problems with other dentist but this group is great. This was the best decision I ever made, my teeth were deteriorating rapidly, I had lost at least 4 teeth in the past 6 months and 2 others were becoming loose, I decided to visit Doctor Marino, it had been at least 15 years since I had seen a dentist, I was both nervous and embarrassed that my teeth had become this bad, the staff was very friendly and comforting, I decided to have all my remaining teeth removed and have full upper and lower dental implants, the process was explained to me clearly and associated costs, my teeth were removed and 4 pins were installed in the upper and 4 pins in the lower jawbone, I had to wear temporary dentures for 3 months while my gums healed, after getting my permanent dental implants I have never been happier, I have a great smile and the teeth have a natural feel to them, I can eat anything I want and not even think about it. I have had my implants for over 8 months and have not had any discomfort, as I said before I even forget I have implants the feeling is so natural, I would highly recommend this procedure to anyone the costs are higher but it is well worth the investment in your health and comfort. The staff at Darrow Dental is the best, I will never be able to thank them enough for this life changing event. read more

wish there was a 0 rating !! went there for dental pain they on mon jan 28 2019 they scheduled an appointment after the exam to do the work for the worst weather day in 30 years jan 30 i was 11 minutes late for appointment as cars don't always like to start at minus 11 degrees they refused to treat me ...by the way wainting room and parking lot were totally empty.... they wanted to reschedule for 3 weeks even though they knew i was in sever pain ... thank god for angle dentistry on s arlington called them was able to be seen as soon as i could get there and had tooth removed that day !!!!... called marino dental to discuss issue with dr marino was told he doesn't take phone calls still waiting for a courtuosy call back from him to discuss the matter . in the mean time that facility has 1) lost doing 2 extractions 2 root canals and several filings along with 2 partial plates or implants 2) has lost any of my family ever going to their facility again and 3) any recommendation of there facility from me AND NO I DONT REPEAT DONT WANT TO DISCUSS THIS WITH YOUR "OFFICE MANAGER" I ONLY WANT TO DISCUSS THIS WITH DR MARINO HIMSELF !!!!! read more
