Delivery pizza for dinner - not usually my thing. There's usually way too much cheese or grease on…read moreit, and while its satisfying in the moment, everything starts to feel too heavy and ill afterwards. But not with Pizza Lupa, no no no.. . I will happily have their pizza for dinner anyday!
They only have 3 locations in London, the one by London Bridge being the most central one. They only do delivery, and as far as I know, you're not able to able to take away, which is a shame. Check out their website for the full menu, but they have got some amazing toppings, such as truffle oil, capers, handmade meatballs, roasted aubergine, prosciutto, fresh parmasan, artichoke.. the list goes on. There is a good balance of sauce / crust / toppings, in that its not too overloaded with one or the other.
I've tried their pizza twice, and have gotten half and half, 17" pizza for £16/£17. It might not be the Papa John's £10 any size deal, but shell out the extra money, its worth it!
If you live in the area, give it a try, you won't be disappointed! If you don't live in the area, find a friend who does, and order in.
For the one place in London where I'm willing to stay in and order from - 5 stars.
