When I heard from several close sources that this place was grand I was skeptical. From the moment I arrived I was pleasantly surprised! Easy to get there with easy access for seniors and handicapped. Excellent attention from the valets! I felt like in paradise. Beautiful architecture and ambiance. Beautiful garden and terraces. Great cocktails !!! Delicious appetizers. May I recommend the quesadilla appetizers with huitlacoche!!! The menu includes unique Mexican creations and favorite international dishes. I ordered tenderloin medalions in black pepper sauce. Others ordered Carne a la Tampiquena, Milanesa, and a Squid and Rice dish. I could not access the menu, unfortunately to find the name. It is my new favorite and will certainly recommend it highly.

We visited last in a large group which was no problem for the restaurant. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I had the sopes and mole enchiladas. Mole is a complex and difficult to make sauce from the state of Puebla. My enchiladas were fantastic. I grew up here in Cuernavaca, and after living in the US for 16 years, this is one of the places I visit every time I am in town. This restaurant is also known as Los Colorines, and is a new location for the original in Tepoztlan and the newer one on Av. Zapata.
