My eyes are red and tear constantly. It has so curtailed my social life, it makes me so sad I have finally decided to write this review. I so trusted this man, was excited to have the surgery. I remember every minute of the surgery. I wasn't at all drowsy as I was told I would be. There was constant talking and laughing, I remember thinking how can he concentrate? He worked much longer on the right eye than the left eye. He started a suture in the left eye and it was not Anesthetized, I flinched, he asked the nurse to put some Anesthesia in that eye, he continued but didn't work on that eye nearly as long as the right. My left eye results are worse that than the right eye. My present eye doctor suggested I see a surgeon in Bosman that he knows for corrective surgery. But at 89 I am too afraid after this disappointment to try again. My last appointment with Dr. MCCANN left me in tears. He yelled at me and told me he didn't need to see me again! Jacque Thomas

Ten years ago when we moved here this hospital had a horrible reputation. I recently had a knee operation and was very positively impressed with the entire process. The facility is immaculate and the equipment and "furnishings" are up-to-date. From reception through pre-operation briefings to final surgery everyone, literally everyone, was friendly, asked if I needed anything, explained what was happening and what was coming next and reminded me to ask any question or express any concern at any time. Prior to coming in I received reminder phone calls and after the surgery received calls from the surgeon, his office and the surgery department checking in on me. And I was stunned to receive a thank-you card, personally signed and commented upon by the very people who took care of me during the surgical processes. Very, very impressive and appreciated. So look and listen beyond the people who did have less than satisfactory experiences in the past. That is over, from our personal experiences, and we have a first class operation here in the Bitterroot Valley.

Long story.... when we first moved to the Bitterroot ( 2021/2022 ) My husband needed a dentist…read morequickly and we landed here. Lovely office, and mostly accommodating, but sadly they did not take Medicare. ( ugh! ) I also felt the receptionist and policies regarding payments, discounts etc. was at that time; was a bit put off-ish in my opinion. I decided to not use them, ( I have dental Ins ) but my husband moved forward to the tune of about $10k of cash paid dental work over a few years. He stayed with them because he liked them. Fast forward to Thanksgiving week 2024. On the Friday before Thanksgiving tooth pain started for me and I thought I could manage it. Saturday to Monday was pretty much pure horrible pain, Ibuprofen and Ice packs. Over the weekend we called my dentist ( Husband did ) left a message. But he failed to listen to the whole message saying they were closed all Thanksgiving week. After figuring out that they were because I called in after not getting a return call Monday. After numerous calls around the valley for a 1) A dentist open, 2) Take an emergency NEW patent & 3) Not have to drive 50 miles to Missoula. My husband says lets call my dentist Dr Myer in Stevensville. He did and they said I could come in Monday afternoon, Nov 25th, then after that visit they worked me in for an extraction the 26th. I will say this... First off they got me in, second, they were so kind and caring. The first visit was yeah... its bad it has to come out. So back the next day for the extraction. Arja the tech is an exceptional human being and tech, she walked me through what, how, etc.. I paid extra $ for nitrous because --- well you know why. Honestly the extraction took all of like 8 minutes.. but I got Nitrous, topical numb, and then shots, but this is hands down the best doctor and tech I've ever had and I am 63. All went very well and Dr Meyer called me personally on Friday to make sure I was ok. I was, and I am. I had waited for my next appointment for 2 weeks for a bone graph for this tooth site as it was an extraction and 40+ year old bridge was removed. Just had that bone graph yesterday 12/9/24, again everything went well... my anxiety was the worst thing over these past few weeks. They understood my pain, the need for antibiotics and my anxiety. I was looking for another dentist anyway as the one I was going to; kind of treated you like cattle. LOL.. maybe its just a MT thing. LOL. Amy at the front desk is new and she is awesome as well. I just wanted to post a great review as I feel this is an exceptional dentist surrounded by an awesome team. I am very grateful for the kindness and help they gave me. Now an Implant or two next July 2025. And Just FYI, if a dentist makes you wait a bit longer, and your in for a cleaning or any other minor issue or your numbed up and not in pain... Keep in mind it could be for another patent that's in much more pain than you.

After extensive work, an…read moreabscess, a root canal, a pulled tooth, a bone graph, and a crown, I have always left Bitterroot Valley Dentistry with very little pain and an easy recovery. Dr. Myers is so gentle and attentive. He spends extra time to make things perfect. I've never encountered a dentist that makes every tooth modification feel natural and unnoticeable, without a time of adjustment. He does! Dr. Myers staff is so personable that I want them all to come over for dinner! Haha! Just stop looking for a dentist. They're the best. I'm so appreciative for such a great experiences, cause let's face it... dental work generally sucks!

We sought out Dr. Clark after months seeing a general doctor without any progress aside from an undiagnosed problem that was escalating and random prescriptions to treat the symptoms. He immediately identified the source of the problem and took the appropriate next steps. I can't say enough about his professionalism, knowledge, ability to build rapport with his patients, and proactive nature. Ultimately, the issue was more complex than what could be addressed locally but his office has still been there every step of the way going above and beyond to facilitate the transition and coordinate treatment out-of-state. Hailey, his nurse, is a rock-star! The process of initiating treatment at an academic facility was cumbersome. I leaned on her throughout the process when we hit roadblocks. She took on items that outside of her job description to help remove our obstacles and made all the difference. Thank you all for your stellar attitudes, straight forward responses, and genuine care for your patients! You've definitely made a difference for our family. They then charge me for the cash price for the appointment and will not rebill my insurance a different code nor work with a sliding fee scale. They also had me complete another physical several months after I had had one without explaining why, for a verification I asked for for a prior physical. Very shady billing practices.

I had complained about how food gets caught between teeth every time I eat and I have to use floss to get it out. The hygenist brought to my attention the pocket forming around the tooth. Dr. Davidson confirmed her findings and they recommended my going to a gum specialist. He said the food jamming down while chewing was damaging the gums and the bone was starting to recede from the implant post. He recommended adding to the tooth in front of the implant. Dr. Davidson recommended taking the crown off of the implant and adding to it instead. That made more sense to me. They also called the lab to see about getting it covered under a warranty to save me money. I am very impressed with this office and so glad I changed dentists.
