He will seem like he is compassionate and understanding of what you as the victim must be going thru. He will be reassuring in making you believe that you have a solid defense/argument in court and that the wrong you have experienced will be fought vigorously in court. However once he gets his fee, everything will change. His tone will suddenly change into making you feel like you, the client, are the bad guy. There is suddenly nothing to defend and all of the evidence will suggest you are in fact guilty and he will quickly advise you to plead guilty. I am writing this review over something that happened to me over 5 years ago but still affects me to this day and I hope I can help even one person who reads this to not use Marc Neff and avoid the serious repercussions of using a narcissistic, condescending opportunist like Marc Neff. Trust me! Stay away and make sure to do your due diligence and meet with other lawyers but no matter what, DO NOT USE MARC NEFF. You are better off defending youself in court.

Our landlord then had the audacity to sue us instead of letting us leave peacefully even though, according to Philadelphia law, we had every right to break our lease. This resulted in us, with the help of Mr. Copoulos, filing a counterclaim. Throughout the entire filing-continuance-time consuming performance that reporting to court ultimately becomes Mr. Copoulos was easy to communicate with and constantly kept us abreast of any and all changes. Come time for court, which actually ended up going to trial, Mr. Copoulos genuinely exceeded my expectations with his line of questioning and cross-examination of both myself and my landlord. It was a tough case and I actually thought my landlord's lawyer bested me a few times but Mr. Copoulos was able to call bullsh&t and we came out on top. We were awarded our counterclaim and my landlord had to walk away with an extremely salty, yet magnificently sour face. Needless to say I was very pleased.
