Highly recommend doctor Galperin, a top notch professional with truly golden touch. My mother diagnosis include spinal stenosis, age related arthritis, scoliosis of some degree. Any of such diagnosis cause enormous pain. We tried different approaches, PT etc with no luck, and finally ended up with doctor Galperin. He did 2 injections in a 2-week span and did alleviate my mom's pain. From what I get it's very important to provide exact symptoms for the doc to diagnose correctly which area of the spine needs an injection. If you provide a precise and brief description of the symptoms, he'll do the rest. Also, he's not the type of a doctor who tries to please his patients. I'm OK with this as at the end of the day being pain free is the most important thing and he does deliver that with his injections. Hopefully, I'll never need pain management (fingers crossed), but if I ever do, I'll be happy to be his patient. read more

Terrible service. I did a spinal tap and after 4 months never received the result!!!!! Never. The Dr disappeared never replied about it and the staff never helped me with a solution. After the test a had back pain for a month or more!!!!!! VERY IRRESPONSABLE!!!!! I had to do another spinal tap in another place with professional doctor. Who knew going to get a shot could be as entertaining as watching a sci fi movie?! Dr. Galperin offers epideural cortisone injections for pain. But unlike most doctors who offer the same cortisone injections, he has a high-tech, mistake-free way of doing it. He has an X-ray machine which allows him to see the exact spot where the injection has to be made. This means that his pain management is much more effective and there's little room for mistakes. There is also electro- and physiotherapy on site, which is very convenient. The doctor himself is very professional, though always very busy because of a large amount of patients. read more

The absolute WORST. Took my father's $400 co-pay CASH back in February. They gave him an epidural and allowed him to leave the office right after while his legs were still numb. They then said they would return the $400 once the insurance paid them. Here we are months later and the front desk woman told me SEVERAL times that she would mail it but she didn't. Totally unprofessional. I come to the office and the doctor is on vacation again. While I understand nothing is guaranteed and the treatment he performed on my father didn't work we knew that was a possibility. I am completely disgusted at how long this has taken considering the insurance company has paid them back in late February/early March. Different story everyday. This Dr. Was the worst Dr. I have ever been to in my life. Completely unprofessional his entire office is decorated with bottles of alchohol, some of which were open and implies he drinks on the job. I saw him a total of 4 times. Mean, doesnt listen to your complaints and no bedside manner what soever. I recommend you go to another docter, i dont think this guy has a clue to what hes doing. He should have his license taken away from him. I wont say its a language barrier. Hes very cocky and arrogant. Dr. Mark Galperin is the most unprofessional and disrespectful practitioner I've dealt with ever! I have traveled around the United States with my husband who is currently a Veteran of the United States Armed Forces; by which I have dealt with my fair share of doctors. Let me reiterate, I have never, ever come across a licensed medical physician that has lacked this much compassion or understanding in Practitioner- Patient relations. (Digestive Note: Although Dr. Gilperin received his residency in Buffalo, New York, his studies of medicine have been practiced abroad in Pavlov, Russia. "You must not like your child!" The exact words that regurgitated from the mouth of Dr. Galperin as he shoved a list of all my previous medications in my face. He began to ask questions as if I was in an interrogation room. Let us not forget this was the first impression of who New York State gave the authority to practice medicine- for those in need or request of care. With zero knowledge of my history, he made it crystal clear by saying," You can forget about this!" referring to a request that WAS NEVER made. Dr. Galperin then began to tell me that my child was addicted. Not only has Dr. Galperin never met my child, but my childs monthly primary care visits have concluded that what he deemed as a factual statement is FALSE. Now you may be wondering how a New York State, licensed physician, who is NOT nor has ever been a licensed OBGYN or pediatrician telling me about my child during a visit for myself... I am just as baffled and confused as you are. After he said what he said and decided to tell me to, "See my way out.", I began to get emotional. I like to consider myself as a powerful person who doesn't allow much to get under my skin; however, in this particular instance, talking about my child, that has done nothing to anyone, except keep me up through the night is now being labeled as an addict got to me. My elderly mother was at doctor Galperin's office today, January 13. 2021, and had an extremely disappointing experience. She left his office in tears. The doctor is rude and very unprofessional. His unethical behavior is very demeaning. I am sure that one star is way too much for this doctor and his practice, because his approach to medical practice is very limited, and his medical knowledge is not sufficient enough to practice pain management. The only patients that are going to him are people in pain, and his persona does not want to hear about anything that is not to his liking. I would prefer a professional environment with respectable staff that is committed to making the patient feel comfortable and welcomed. Today I dropped off my mother to be seen by the doctor she's handicap she arrived early she was told over the phone to try to arrive around 5 o'clock to see the ophthalmologist when my mother got to the front desk they said that the doctor wasn't there and they weren't sure when the doctor was going to arrive what kind of garbage is that? Unknown time? I overheard the disgusting staff try to insult my mother meanwhile my mother had every right to be upset I made the effort to drive her she made the effort to go there and then they told her that they weren't going to except her because they didn't like her attitude the place is disgusting it's outdated and the staff is prejudiced and disgusting don't ever go there I do not recommend this place piece of shit staff read more

Im writing this review to help other people so they dont have to go through what this dr put me through. Asked me questions and then tells me im lying. Grabbed a whole of my knee squeezed it, and told me this is where the pain is. I started to cry from the excruciating pain. He tells me when I stop feeling sorry for myself we can continue. Worst Dr ever! My mom went to him for bad knee pain from a bad surgery and right off the bat before she even got a chance to speak, he was very rude and disrespectful telling her that she is only there for pills, that he's not giving her any medication. He then told her to take a shot which she is terrified of needles; he told her to get over it, grow up and stop being a baby. This person who calls himself a Dr has no compassion no bedside manner. Frankly he should not be in this line of work if he does not know how to speak to people appropriately. His license should be taken away! I would not bring my dog to him let alone a human being.
