She explains treatments and options clearly and her office is quick to respond to questions/ requests. Only downside is she doesn't always keep on schedule with her appointments but that's because she spends time with each of her patients and doesn't make you feel rushed during your visit.

Yet, I was well served by two physicians in this practice, one a vascular surgeon for blood-clot issues and the other (Dr. Michael Rose) who did an small, but important outpatient procedure as a diagnostic and preventative measure. It is true that I am also married to my favorite physician at Surgical Associates of Richmond, but my review is strictly due to how the staff, physicians, and procedures impacted my life at the time I received services. They were efficient, responsive, empathetic, humble, and kind in their work. Highly recommend.

She is empathic, explains everything so you understand, she gives an exam that doesn't leave you feeling violated and her office staff especially Sara, is helpful and will actually call you back right away if she's not there! I've seen so many colorectal doctors in Richmond, and most of them are cold and abrasive, NOT the kind of doctor you need in such a vulnerable time. My father sees NP Kim Plummer. My father is 76 years old with congestive heart failure, diabetes, and chronic lymphocytic leukemia. In November of 2022 he got very ill with a virus (dangerous for a cancer patient) & ran around 103 degrees fever for three days while we tried to get in touch with NP Plummer. After the fourth day, we finally got a phone call back (after talking to the answering service in Ohio). She told the answering service to give her about 30 minutes to call my mom back (she was the on-call doctor & it was 6am. We were ready to take him to the hospital). When she finally called, she told my mother, in a very impatient manner, that she had already called in a prescription for my dad two days ago. No one in the office, including NP Plummer, took time to inform my mother of this. When mom told NP Plummer no one had informed us, Plummer's response was "I did my part". Apparently, bedside manner was not a course she took in medical school. Don't go here. Not only is she dismissive and uncaring, but the office is completely unorganized and obviously has communication problems.

If I'm in need of a doctor this is the place I go to. They accept most major health insurance…read morepolicy's. They have several doctor's that work here and a friendly staff. They can handle most of your illnesses or whatever else ail's you. I hope you don't need to see a doctor,but if you do give them a shot:-)
