While doing the new roof, they encountered a very old and rusty swamp cooler. In removing the cooler, they saw lots of rust and deterioration in the interior duct work. have never had a contractor work with my insurance company as well as this one. My insurance was reluctant to pay for additional work but they took photos and explained everything and submitted the necessary paperwork and my claim was accepted! Friendly and professional! Can't open the two gates because they scrape on the landscape floor and on the cement they poured for the post. The gate hooks are not properly installed. Hack job! The back gate won't stay closed. Good thing it hooks up on the cement they poured or it would stay wide open all the time. Added unfounded extra charges to the final bill. Went into my house when I wasn't home. (I have cameras). I will have to cut the bottom of the gates so I can open them and redo the gate hooks. Surely the back fence will not stay up long???

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! Facts:…read more 1. I hired this company to install a propane gas line for my new fireplace. After the installation, the County Inspector failed the install and said it was not up to Code. I told the plumber that the Inspector wanted a shutoff that was up to Code. This company refused to replace the shutoff with one to Code. I had to hire another contractor to replace the shutoff. 2. An employee of this company stole a new clothes washer from my home. When I confronted the employee about the missing appliance, he denied taking it. After I replied, I was calling the police, only then, did he confess to taking it and he returned it broken. It cost me $120 to get it repaired. 3. I hired this company with 20 years experience to install a floor drain for my hot tub, that they roughed in. After the drain was in, it was 3/8" above the tile floor. This meant that there would always be 3/8" of standing water on the floor before the drain would be effective. 4. The owner of the company said I needed a special part for a hot tub fill fixture to pass inspection. He agreed to bring the part and install it. A second trip charge later, he shows with the part, conveniently, forgot to bring hardware to install it. This was to yet another trip charge from me. Then, he left the part and would not come back to install it after several calls and text. He said I could install it. I talked to Townsend Plumbing & Heating about these issues. They would not listen to my concerns or adjust the invoice. They do not negotiate prices with the customers whether you like their service or not.

It's been…read morealmost a year, since I advanced Greg $1100. for work he never started, and is unwilling to complete. I had arranged with Greg, to pay monthly payments, to settle his theft of my funds. He was contrite about his deceit, and agreed to this arrangement. Greg also stated he would correct some of his previous inferior work. Needless to say, months have passed, and Greg has made no effort to honor this arrangement! I'm now out of another $1000. I had to pay a reputable contractor to correct Greg's shoddy work. I'LL BE SEEING YOU IN SMALL CLAIMS COURT, REAL SOON GREG!!
