Several dentists say I'm the funniest person they'd ever met (this is not bragging, it's a pitiful confession) until they notice I've been in the chair for hours. But with Dr. Monteiro I didn't say one funny - she was quick, professional yet friendly, painless, took time to tell me what she was doing before she did it, and used lots of cool, state-if-the-art instruments. She and her dental assistant seem to almost read each other's thoughts and things get passed back and forth while I caught up on the "Help I Wrecked My House" show. Tisa Jodi They are WARM. They are COMPASSIONATE. They made me feel relaxed. Before this appointment, I'd walked out of two other dentists for their cold and indifferent approach. But I had a terrible toothache so I knew I had to find someone. I found them. They took me ON TIME! They WELCOMED me. They took TIME to discuss my results which turned out to be a cracked tooth. They went over EVERYTHING with smiles. Do you know how RARE that is in today's world? I have been on Yelp for years and mostly review eateries. But man, I am hoping others who have had the same sorts of dental fears as I, will see this and go here because they're great. And for me, warmth and human connection matters greatly. I was an active patient of his for over 8 years. For a while I was commuting from NYC to CT just to see him because I could not find in NYC the same level of service, expertise and professionalism that I find at Stratford Dental Care. Reinaldo is extremely knowledgeable, and very passionate about his job. He's extra cautious about all procedures, and truly ensures that one is comfortable in his office. The staff at Stratford Dental Care is exceptional. You'll receive warm and friendly smiles as soon as you walk in. They're all very professional adults, as opposed to other dental offices that I've been to, which hire very young teens as receptionists and whom not only are unprofessional but sometimes are rude and unwelcoming. I went there in January and I must say the office is extremely clean....open...and well lit. My hygenist Aleesia couldn't of been nicer. It was like I'd known her forever. And truthfully it had been probably over 15 years since I had my teeth cleaned and I'm really not a dentist person cause I don't like someone working in my mouth. But the way this lady works is very comfortable. I could not believe all the X-rays she did of my teeth. I said to her would you like my autograph too? Heh heh heh...she thought that was funny. The doctor.....Doctor Sran came in to look at my x-rays and he said how old are you I said 52. He said you don't have one cavity in your mouth....he said it's amazing. He wanted to do a deep cleaning which they do it in 4 quadrants but I couldn't afford that. It would have been $250 a quadrant x 4= $1000 and I wasn't able to afford anything like that. The cleaning Aleesia did was amazing. It was like I had new teeth. All the staining and tartar was gone and I've actually had a couple people say how white my teeth looked. She did a regular cleaning then buffing them and I was over the moon how my teeth came out . If I could give this place 11 stars I would.
