Many people have contacted me via Cancer Websites to ask what they should do. In all cases I tell them to schedule a consultation and see if this is the right treatment for you. If you are closed minded and ONLY want standard assembly line care like they offer around the country, this isn't your place to be treated. They will teach you how important the mind is in reference to your health. They will give you treatments like Red Light therapy and PEMF. They will inject you with things like mistletoe and give you a lot of pills to take. If this bothers you that its not the standard "grab a IV bag of full dose chemo" maybe your mind isn't open to beating this disease. Just think if all of those other chemos didn't work like they didn't work for me; why wouldn't you try something different then the normal BIG PHARMA protocol? Its been over a year since I left the clinic. I am still cancer free. Is it because of the treatment? I have no idea; however, I know that if I would not have tried this my NORMAL Dr's would have just given me a pill to take and sent me on my way, as I am stage 4. At this center they don't treat you like a # and they tailor your treatment to your disease. They will answer all your questions. They will review your blood weekly. You will learn how the brain and the body are connected. You will meet a group of caring medical professionals that are there for you. And funny enough the other patients are marvelous and upbeat. I was probably the grouchiest patient they had :) They will suggest a plant based diet. I did that for the time I was there and failed at it after returning home. However I don't eat anything that comes from the sea or water now. That is because I now know about Methionine. I only drink water now. I occasionally will have a sangria; however, I don't eat processed food now. Keep in mind this is your life and you have to do what you can manage and not punish yourself for failing to do everything 100% perfect. Normal Doctors won't even discuss food or how your mind controls your health. My treatment was 3 months. I paid in full with a Credit Card as I have Kaiser Insurance which doesn't allow for out of network care. I did this over Thanksgiving 222 and Xmas and New Years. My schedule was only paused a day or 2 for Thanksgiving. It was 4 weeks there and 4 weeks off and then 4 weeks there. I didn't react well to the treatment I feel because my endocrine system was a disaster due to having 2 other FULL SPECTRUM chemo treatments. I had tons of nausea. I had pre-diabetic issues as chemo never allows me to lose weight it always makes me gain weight. I also don't lose my hair with chemo. I am an odd ball. Other FULL spectrum chemos damaged my joints to where I need joint replacements. I didn't that experience here. I was just full of nausea. It's not their fault I just tend to react differently to different things. The bottom line is if you are at all concerned that this is right for you, listen to Dr. Stegall's podcast on Spotify. Its called "Cancer Secrets Podcast." I binge listened to all of these in 1 week and I was sold on the fact this was the right place for me. In the end you need to decide what is right for you. For me this was the best decision I made for my long term health in regards to Cancer Treatment. PROTIP: Get with the center before you go to plan your housing and get a layout on what places are close by for food and other services. There is a good amount of shopping to the south of the center. Lots of places to eat. Tons of housing (we went with a 1 bdr apartment). Housing suggestions I should have taken from the Center to begin with and of course there is a whole foods close by.

We can't say enough about this practice w/ their immediate, proactive, and aggressive approach to cancer treatment cannot be overstated. We love them forever and if God Forbid, cancer should return to our family, though we have relocated to Savannah; there is only one place we will go to eradicate it. Northwest Georgia Oncology and only, Dr Nandy! Side note: there is another doctor in the practice named Doctor forehand who was absolutely awful and I would go so far as to say incompetent. So if you go to the practice, make sure that you insist on Dr. Nandy folks. PLEASE do not let your loved ones be touched by Doctor forehand. My husband would not be alive, were it not for us ignoring Doctor forehand and his malpractice worthy advice for us to do nothing... and come back in five years! We instead, followed our guts remained steadfast in our proactive approach to his medical care. Days later we found Dr. Nandy and my husband had stage 3 Adenocarcinoma esophageal cancer with lymph node involvement. No joke. Forehand should lose his license and Dr Nandy should take over the whole practice. IMHO. Dr Nandy and his entire staff literally saved his life.

10/10 best surgery experience at North Fulton Outpatient Surgery. This was my first surgery so I…read morewas very nervous about everything. I knew my surgeon Dr. Frederick which is why I made the decision to do this surgery because I trust him. The rest of my care team was a dream team. Victoria, Christine & Haley all worked well together in getting me settled in the pre-operative room. Christine started my IV & took her time to find a good vein as I have tiny veins. She was able to get my IV started with 1 stick that I barely felt. Victoria answered all my questions and reassured me of all my concerns to make me feel comfortable. I was very nervous about being put to sleep and who my anesthesiologist would be and both Victoria & Christine talked very highly of Dr. Rubio which made me feel more comfortable. I had already met & spoke to Dr. Frederick prior to my surgery day but when he came in the room and my husband & sister was with me I appreciated that he took the time to explain the surgery process to my family and answer all their questions. Dr. Rubio came in the room while Dr. Frederick was there which made the introductory so much better as Dr. Frederick spoke very highly of Dr. Rubio as well. Dr. Rubio had a very welcoming personality. He explained the anesthesia process to my family and I and listened to my concerns. He also spoke highly about the CRNA Sydney that would be with me during the surgery. Then Sydney the CRNA and Bradley the OR nurse entered the room. Sydney explained what she would be doing during my surgery and Bradley went over all my consents. Bradley was very efficient with his paperwork and made sure everything was accurate. Sydney told me that we share birthdays which instantly made me feel so much better because if someone is going to put me to sleep and monitor me there is no one better than a Virgo. At this point I was more comfortable knowing the team I would have in the OR room with me. When I woke up in PACU my eyes opened to Sheryl who I swear was like having my mom, grandmother & aunt all in one person. Every time I called Sheryl's name she was right there by my bedside. I remember holding her soft warm hands every time she was near me. I may have asked her the same questions over & over, I don't remember much but I just remember her being so soft spoken and doing everything to make me feel comfortable and to ease my pain. At one point I remember hearing another patient talking and Sheryl responding to the patient but when I called for Sheryl again she was right there by my bedside. Sheryl made me feel like she was taking care of her own daughter and that I was her only patient. I can't say enough about Sheryl but waking up in a room sleepy, drowsy and in pain having Sheryl there with me made me feel so safe. I was then moved to a post-operative room where Burgundy was taking care of me. I was still in so much pain but Burgundy was very patient with me, helped me get up and cleaned up in the bathroom and helped me feel as comfortable as I could get in the bed. Burgundy was also very informative in my discharge instructions with my family and answered all their questions. The day after my surgery I received a follow up call from Tyler who was checking in to make sure I was recovering well at home. Since I was so drowsy the day before I was able to ask all my follow up questions about my surgery to Tyler during this call. I couldn't have imagined a better surgery experience or dream team to take care of me. Thank you Dr. Frederick, Victoria, Christine, Haley, Dr. Rubio, Sydney, Bradley, Sheryl, and Burgundy!

They are positive, friendly and make you feel so welcome and comfortable in a very difficult (cancer) environment. I completed 6 weeks of radiation therapy and could not be happier with Dr. Williams and the staff at Northside Radiation and Oncology.

I spoke to Dr. Williams and he gave me a good idea of what the radiation therapy would entail. I also spoke to a urological surgeon who gave me an overview of what that would entail. Based on those conversations, and on some research I did on my own, I decided to have Dr. Williams do the radiation therapy. He thoroughly explained the entire process, and during the actual treatment we met on a regular basis so he could asses what, if any side effects I was experiencing as a result of the therapy. In all our meetings he was down-to-earth, engaging, and thoroughly professional. He made me feel at ease during my treatment, and that is extremely important for anyone trying to beat cancer. I'm happy to report that the course of treatment Dr. Williams devised has been a rousing success. For anyone who is in need of radiation oncology, I would recommend Dr. Williams without hesitation.

I was referred to Dr Carroll in Feb 2025 after an ER work up due to persistent abdominal pain that…read morestarted in November 2024. My bloodwork showed a tumor marker of 84 and a cancer antigen of 413. I was scared I only had months to live because I felt it could be ovarian cancer. I had a hysterectomy in 2021 due to cervical cancer, but still had my ovaries. Dr Carroll walked into the exam room and immediately sai,d "It's not ovarian cancer, that's genetic." I asked her why my bloodwork showed high cancer markers, and she said its probably endometriosis. No additional workup or testing, just her opinion. She told me we could monitor my symptoms or remove my ovaries out of caution. I told her I needed time to decide. I was relieved but after a few months of worsening abdominal pain I asked for them to be removed. My surgeon expected to find endo due to Dr. Carrolls diagnosis but when he went in I had severe adhesions and he could not see my ovaries so he called in an additional surgeon to help. The ovaries were sent off for pathology and guess what, there was cancer in my left ovary. It looked like a science fiction character. Turns out cervical cancer moved to my ovary. So now I am under the care of a more competent doctor and currently under chemo/radiation treatment.

My aftercare with Dr. Carroll and her staff began during the Winter 2023 after my chemotherapy treatment and hysterectomy from the outstanding Emory Winship Cancer Center in Johns Creek. Her office is polite and professional; however, patient-centered care is not a top priority for them. So far since my blood work is stable without any evidence of disease warrants very little attention from all the people I have encountered which accounts for at least 5 people from nurses, front office and record keeping. I have in-person visits quarterly, and apparently no notes of my visits are documented. Nurses have asked a myriad of questions after my visit on the Wellstar online portal which I have mentioned at great length during my in-person visit. I've wasted too much of my valuable time answering questions that should be on record. Subsequently, the nurses time is also wasted.
