I've had multiple problems over the few years I was insured with Mark, the office staff really sucks. I got an email reply about a quote saying I needed to call in. Ok cool. I do that, but the girl I need to speak to is on the phone so the person I'm speaking with says they'll pass along the message and have her call me back. It's 28 hours later and I still have no call back. Anyway, fast forward to today - I was able to bundle my car insurance with my husband's car with a different company for WAY less than the price I am paying w State Farm for just one car and one driver! I call this morning to cancel the policy, leave a voicemail. I called multiple times throughout the day, no one answers. I called multiple at 5:05 (because I need to cancel, new policy is going into effect tomorrow!) and despite their office hours being until 5:30pm, the auto message tells me they are closed. Jokes on them, I was two doors down so I marched right in to an OPEN, NOT BUSY, totally dead office. My was it overly decorated for Easter. So this is how you prioritize your time? The girl with 8 purple pimple patches on (so unprofessional - I cannot) seemed annoyed with me. I told her I want to cancel my policy because I have found a new company effective tomorrow. Does she even bother to try to keep me or find out why? NOPE. WOW! After a few seconds of typing she doesn't even look up and says "ok you're good." I regret not letting her know how I felt before I left. But here we are. Shop around, their prices are insane and this office is NOT worth the headache. Here's the time stamps: June 19th: Called and spoke with Heather "someone will reach out via email" (no email) July 1st: Emailed Mark Murray (no reply) July 29th: Called and spoke to Angelica who said she would call me back the following day with an update. Like a Good Neighbor? Not there for me!First time filing a claim for an auto accident and I've been with State Farm over 20 years. Terrible experience!!! It's been almost 4 weeks since my car accident and my car is still at a tow yard somewhere in Fresno. I'm without a vehicle. I spoke with several friendly State Farm customer service agents that assured me my car was getting to the repair shop and issues would be escalated to supervisor but no action and blaming third party towing vendor or tow company. Mark's office said they would call me back and did a week later with no update on my vehicle. I'm very disappointed this is not getting resolved! I have had terrible experiences with this office and most recently, coverage I added to my policy with Belinda and Gisela in 2016 was never added and I'm out of luck. Mark does not return phone calls or emails. I have been a client since 2014, but I am not valued enough to warrant any communication following an accident. State Farm claims is also REALLY terrible. I had progressive years ago and in hindsight (basing on apples to apples claims experiences) I should have NEVER changed. Definitely look to other companies (or if you're stuck on state farm) other agents! P.S. I've had State Farm for quite awhile through Mark Murray's office. My agent I have had this whole time, is Tammy. She handles everything I need, makes sure we pay the appropriate amount with every car & our renters insurance! When the whole Covid 19 hit, they made it a point to call to check on us personally, and they even send birthday cards out which I find so sweet. This is not some cooperation that's wants your money, these are people who genuinely care. My husband and i were just affected by the fires here in Vacaville and nearly lost our home, Tammy was so quick to make sure we were safe, and directed me with everything I needed as for clean up due to smoke damage. Evidently Mark is too busy for clients. The office staff is well below par. I wanted to review my flood insurance since 2014. I asked Mark 5-6 times on this matter. It never got taken care of... I called FEMA today, they had classified me as a secondary home, not my primary. My cost went down from $ 3,700 to 2,000 a year... I am on disability, a fixed income. AVOID THIS OFFICE AT ALL COSTS!!!! This is the worst insurance office to deal with. The agent himself is never in the office or available to talk to you. The girls in the office are extremely unprofessional and rude. I have been hung up on twice and when I went into the office I had 2 of the girls yelling and cursing at me. All because I was trying to transfer agents so I could get the answers I was looking for. They need to leave their attitude on the streets and realize this is a customer serivce industry and without customers they wouldn't have a pay check. I've had State Farm for over 10 years. I switched from our agent in Dublin to an agent more close to home... What a huge mistake that was. The service on my policy through this office was ridiculously unprofessional. Two specific instances come to my immediate recollection: 1, I asked for a Declarations page of all of my policies (4 cars, a house) mailed to me. I was mailed ID cards. No biggie, I called and again asked for the DECLARATIONS page to be sent. The gal I spoke with (who has since left) argued with me and told me she had sent me the declarations page. I was very polite and explained that she sent ID cards... Not what I requested. She argued again. So I figured maybe there was a miscommunication. The next day I drove to the office. Asked for the same thing. The girl recognized my name, and began to explain that she had already mailed them. I asked her to humor me, and print them for me as I was already there. So she did. She handed me... Drum roll... ID CARDS. Seriously? So I began to explain to her what a declarations page was (hell, maybe I had the terminology wrong) she said that the ID cards is what I needed. Um no. Finally someone else in the office overheard the conversation... And gave me the correct paperwork. The second instance was with a claim we had made. My husband was trying to get some information from the local office. He spoke with a lady named Sandra (from what I remember). She was extremely rude and short with him on the phone. We are aware that they don't handle claims directly out of the office, however they are able to look up the claim number... She was totally unwilling to assist with that. Then when I called a bit later (hey, maybe she just had a bad moment) same thing. Rude. How can you keep customers if you are so rude and Unknowledgeable?? That being said - I've spoken to two males in the office, they were always nice and helpful. We received a calls out every two weeks asking us to come in and discuss our coverage... Ive had the same coverages for YEARS, nothing changed. I explained that I didn't need/want to come on to talk about my coverages... They were fine and to please stop calling. Never the less, 5 more phone calls later... They finally stopped. I really did give them a Chance, But after so many inconsistencies and lack Of assistance when needed, I took my business elsewhere. read more

We have been with State Farm for over 25 years and I am extremely disappointed with Mark Murray's office. It took me over 3 months to convert my policies to an umbrella. We don't know who is at fault but no agent should blame the underwriter for the delay, instead, they should have kept us informed of the situation. We had to call many times for status. We have been trying to change our policies over to another agent for over a month and we are still waiting. I was told Mark refuses to make the transfer. I like State Farm Insurance, just NOT the service from this office. I'm not too impressed with the support staff at the office either. I'm now working with the Corporate Office to resolve this and that is no way to do business. read more
