He would lean over the table and put his face in front of mine, within one inch. When we would point out some information on the paperwork, he would stand over my left shoulder, lean over, and put the side of his head within one inch of the side of my head. He was constantly contradicting himself, denying what he had told me, and misplacing papers. When he had to negotiate a settlement with the auto insurance company, he had one phone conversation with the claims rep, and he told me he just couldn't deal with her, and we had to have a mediation. When we went to the mediation, Thomas found his way to the building OK, but he had no idea what floor, or what office. He did not bring the mediator's phone number with him. We were ten minutes late, so the mediator came out of his office, and looked for us in the corridor. At the mediation, Thomas asked the mediator for advice, but didn't follow the mediator's advice. When a settlement was reached, Thomas told me a physical therapy bill was outstanding and he made a deal with the Physical Therapist for me to pay the Medicaid amount, which was $52.14. I called up Medicare and found out the Medicaid amount was $39.12. Thomas was overcharing me $13.-2 per session (23 sessions) for a total overpayment of $299.46.
