We asked to have it profressionally cleaned and he said it had. All the screens in our homes had large holes. We asked to have them replaced, so we could open the windows without pests entering the home. He said they would not replace them, so we went a whole year without opening our windows. We are not from the south so we were alarmed when we found copperheads in our backyard (confirmed by pest control). I called to discuss this with the property management, and a female in the office told me I could buy a black rat snack to have it eat the smaller snakes!!!!! Unbelievable. When we moved our we had the home professionally cleaned as requested. When we received our security deposit back it was half gone. I have rented for over 10 years, and never had a deduction in my deposit. He had sent a receipt for a check written to Cindy Ford. I look online and there is no Cindy Ford cleaner. When I called to tell him I could provide a check to prove I had it cleaned he told me it wasn't clean enough. I told him it was cleaner than I reveived it. Plus, cleaning is part of normal wear and tare so the security deposit should not be used for it. If you want to loose money and live in dirty and inhumane conditions then rent with Justin McClure
