I went in with a friend who was fitted with a shirt and a gorgeous skirt when she got a really good job, and needed to look the part. The shop was deserted but looked really plush. All red, and with an old school looking motorbike as decoration with various garments hung up along the back. The lone sales assistant was very polite and helpful. It really did feel like 5 star treatment, but lets face it we were probably the only customers in that day - if not that week. Prices are steep. For one of their mens Pink Label suit prices START at £850 but you are getting something that will fit perfectly and last for ages. Drapers recognises the exceptional service that Nicholas Jones provides. Good quality fabrics, stylish and sensible garments - real grown up clothes. I'm not quite ready for my fitting yet but one day I will be.

Never anyone else in (not entirely sure how they make a profit) but its full of clocks all ticking away, and chiming away, to themselves. The chap serving always seems to have an assistant and they're dead helpful. They've replaced watch batteries for me before instantly and also they've repairs a watch for me. I noticed that their clocks on sale seemed to be quite expensive in my opinion but then if they're not busy they'll need to mark them up to make a profit! They have a lot of stuff in there - nothing dead modern or trendy but a lot of traditional stuff and they're very kind and chatty in there so its worth a visit if you need a repair or are thinking of treating someone to a clock/watch as a present. No immediate parking but there's a side road where there'll usually be a spot so its not a problem.

Family owned and run, a tiny shop nestled between two slihtly bigger shops, easily missed if your not careful. They dont just repair shoes, they will do belts purses, anything leather that need a repair they will look at and tell you if it is possible. They cut keys and engrave, dog tags, trophys, anything you take they will look at. The guys are great and really do try to help you with anything, and there is a distinct smell inside of leater and glue that is somehow reassuring.
