I'm surprised there aren't any reviews for Dr. Waterman! I'm writing this review on behalf of my mother and myself. My mother met Dr. Waterman at a trade show where he was doing exams and minor adjustments. She had been to many different doctors for her back pain but when she saw Dr. Waterman for her adjustment she felt great! She now goes to visit his office often for regular care. Even though the drive is a bit of a stretch, it's way worth it for my mother. I, on the other hand don't have back pain like my mother but I do need to occasional stretch and let me tell you, Dr. Waterman is the best. He's very personable and friendly along with his staff. .I've been a patient of Dr.Watrman for about 16 years .A lot comments about Dr.Waterman are difficult to take serious. I understand we enter his office from a different place and walk of life. I visit Dr Waterman for my Sciatica nerve that flares up on occasion. I get instant results from his adjustments and typically only require two adjustments to have me feeling completely relieved of all my pain. His staff and facility are great especially Jerry. I have been going to Dr. Waterman for several years and he is just a saint. I was scared of seeing a chiropractor for my neck and back pains but I feel so lucky to find someone whose taken care of me as well as he has. My first experience was a sharp pain with a bump on my wrist that posed similar symptoms of carpal tunnel and he cracked my wrist back in place so now it's strong again with no pains! In early February I woke up with some of the worst back pain I've ever experienced. I thought it might just be morning soreness but after 1 week and no improvement I decided it was time to go to the doctor. I went to a doctor I know very well and highly respect and he suggested I go to physical therapy. 6 visits, 5 weeks, and around $400 later my back had neither worsened nor improved. At this point I was extremely frustrated. I am 24, male and healthy and I couldn't figure out how this back pain began and why it wouldn't go away. It was at this point that my dad suggested I try a chiropractor. He had horrible sciatica 20 years ago and said that a chiropractor had been a miracle for him. I recently moved to Claremont and I looked up the first Chiropractor I could find, Dr. Waterman. To be honest I was a little skeptical at first. It had been about 6-7 weeks of back pain with no improvement and I was afraid this might make it worse, but I figured I'd give it a shot. Dr. Waterman is a miracle worker. After just a few visits I started to notice something I hadn't felt in the previous 2 months -- improvement. He was extremely meticulous during my initial visit giving me a little bit of Chiro 101 as well as assessing what he thought was the problem. He even explained why physical therapy wasn't able to improve my condition and how he would be able to help. Dr. Waterman's sessions are extremely quick and efficient. You get in, he makes the necessary adjustments and your on your way. VERY friendly and professional staff as well!!! Not only a great Dr. but also great all around customer service. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Waterman to anyone experiencing low back pain. It is unbelievable how much my back has improved in such a short period of time and I owe it to his amazing practice. Dr. Waterman is the best chiropractor. I have scoliosis and was told as a child I would need chiropractic, I have been to several and never had the results as I have had with Dr. Waterman. X-rays were taken before and after his treatment and there is remarkable improvement in my spine. My pain has diminished and I feel my ultimate best. Dr. Waterman's office is professional and friendly with nutritional supplements, traction therapy and therapeutic massage. My brother started Dr. Waterman's diet and lost 8 pounds his first week. I do not recommend this chiropractor at all. I went in with severe pain in my lower back. The doctor is kind of awkward, not easy to talk to. His adjustments are severe. So severe that I walked out of there in more pain then I came in with. I could barely walk because I had a shooting pain down my leg. Well the next day I had to go to urgent care because the pain was so horrific. I was out of work for a week. I truly believe his adjustment is what caused my sciatica pain to become so severe. I have been in pain for several months due to bulging disk. My shoulders and neck were in so much pain. I received a card in the mail from Dr. Waterman's office about a new massage therapist, Lu. I decided I would take a chance and have a deep tissue massage. Let me tell you, it was painful, but at this point I didn't care, I would endure anything to help with my pain. I went 3 weeks in a row and each time I felt better. I will continue going for a deep tissue massage, it's worth it!!! I feel about 80% better or more and I owe to Lu and lots of prayer! read more

I can't say I'd recommend this office. It has a cluttered and "off" feel about it. The doctor spoke in chiropractic jargon and was difficult to understand. His adjustments came without warning and were severe. I've gone to a chiropractor regularly before and still felt uneasy and even scared during this visit. read more

The front desk is nice, but Dr Waterman is a bit of a quack. He's creepy and just stares at you for a long time, then after an excessively long and personal interview, uses applied kinesiology to diagnose you (which is a quack alternative medicine that is not scientific, and involves pushing your arm down- it's totally a psychological trick). At one point he asked me to hold a bottle of vitamin e and claimed it made me stronger because my body liked it- a complete scam, your body cannot 'sense' nearby vitamins. His adjustments are based on this 'alternative' diagnoses, and so are not where I needed them, plus he is very rough and uses adjustments that are not standard for chiropractors. I left sore, and will not go back. Waste of money- wish I had gone to a real chiropractor. I've been to many amazing Chiro's in the past 13 years, and none have been like this. Good ones will feel your back or X-ray you to find problem areas, and use standard adjustments that are safe and gentle. Guess you don't know until you go. Hope I can find a legitimate chiropractor next time, and that Dr Waterman doesn't hurt anyone with his alternative methods. read more

Their office has a lot of available times that work with my schedule and I get called into the exam room at my appointment time like clockwork.
