Once inside the dome, seated in absolute darkness, a hardy gorde scope of water gets tossed through a small opening off the back. The magical blend of herbs hit the hot rocks and send a heat burst of moisture into the dome. When the eucalyptus is swung over head, the aroma and heat sensation swirl about. The combination of heat, wind, and herbs allows the mind to quiet. A special thank you to Maria, who was so incredibly sweet. Her words were gentle and genuine. He had her smiling, moving her arms and legs and even got her to stand up and "dance" with him where she could practice her balance. 24 hours before this, she had lost the ability to move her whole right side. It felt like a miracle. The team at Vital Balance provides PT twice a day for patients in H+. 5 days later, my mother was miraculously released from the hospital and we went right to Vital Balance (located next door) to set up appts for her to come back receive PT sessions. They were so helpful and knowledgeable about my mother's condition and suggested her treatment schedule. 19 days later, my mother is walking, moving and straightening her right arm and building strength in all her muscles.
