We wanted to find a place that was not too big. We wanted to find a place that we felt welcomed, and that people recognized and remebered that we were there the week before. We wanted to find a place that was focused on our community which had opportunities to serve the people in it. We wanted to find a church where the Pastor preached biblically sound lessons that we could apply to our daily lives, we wanted to hear messages that made sense, messages that made us think, messages that were not sugar coated, and most importantly to us, we wanted the Pastor to teach the whole Bible, and not skip over things because it might make us feel uncomfortable, because the truth sometimes is uncomfortable even when it is the truth. My Wife and I have found all that and so much more at Hope Community Church in Dover N.H. We have been going here for a little over a year, and we are honored to call it home. If you are looking for a great church, full of fantastic people who will really care about you. This is the place. We love St. Mary's and all the priests there are very inspiring and give very insightful homilies dealing with the day's gospel and how it relates to us. We go to other churches when visiting our children, but always return to our beloved Catholic Church, instituted by Christ Himself through St. Peter.
