Where I met myself with an already frustrated employee. I placed my two items on the counter. The cashier proceeded to handle the plastic container like she was about to throw it at me. The item didn't have an SKU. Huffing and puffing, she asked if I knew how much it was. I turned the plastic container around and showed her the sticker: $12.99. She, in turn, replied, " I still need to scan it." Management came up and did the same exact thing with more gusto! I expected that management would be able to enter a code and enter the price, and I would be on my way. Well, instead, they stood there arguing about what to do, how to do it, and who to call. The Manager left, and finally, I left without purchasing anything. No acknowledgment that I was standing there as a customer, no acknowledgment that I was not taken care of. Nothing.. It's a shame that people have no common courtesy. SHAME ON YOU, ROSES EDUCATE YOUR EMPLOYEES!

Information regarding pricing or what was in stock was impossible to find so I had to go and check it out first hand. I was greeted upon immediately walking in. This place is way bigger than I thought it would be. I started browsing the book shelves that were in front and worked my way back towards the store. I only looked through the fiction section but noticed a huge selection of other genres like Sci Fi and Adult Romance. There was also a children's section in the back. Walking towards the front of the store, there were shelves with DVDs as well. In the middle of the store, there's a little lounge section with comfortable chairs and tables to read at. I was carrying several books so I decided to grab a shopping basket. They have the cool ones that have wheels and suitcase like handles. I finally made my way to the register and chatted with the employee. She asked if I found everything i was looking for, to which I did not. She offered to look up titles I wanted and even though they did not have any in the store, she offered to put my information in the system if those books do show up. I purchased 6 books and paid almost $20. Not horrible but I thought for sure it would be cheaper. They have a buy back program, where you receive store credits but I forgot to inquire about the details. Of course I will be back!

This is more of a knick-knack experience, so much to see from the late 1800's to today. Maybe not the 2000s....but up to the 2000s. Opened in 2008, 20,000 square feet of space with 100 individual vendors...it is truly a comprehensive experience. This mall and others like it probably are better suited to true history buffs. I like antiques that are still functional and don't have that "old" smell. I enjoyed looking around and even found some things that I may purchase, however, Im on a mission to find furniture at reasonable prices.
