We recently had the siding replaced on our house. After this was complete, there were a lot of nails poking through the walls in our garage. Our garage is unfinished so the nails that were used to hang the siding came through to the inside of our garage between the studs. For aesthetic and safety I decided to hang some wall panels which is another story. Anyhow after the panels were up this is where the idea comes into play. I wanted to give the panels some support behind them but didn't want to pull them off the walls. First I thought about spray foam but then figured that I would probably need dozens of cans or more. So then I thought what about packing peanuts? I thought this was a great idea. So I started looking on line and at office supply stores. While I found some, the price was more than I thought it should be. That is when I found TwinSource. A 14 cubic foot bag was just over $20 or about a third of the price anywhere else. I thought how could the price be that much better? Did I figure the amount needed incorrectly? Well I placed my order and received a follow up email within a few hours that my order was ready to pick up. TwinSource is located in an industrial building. The process was super simple and my bags were waiting for me when I arrived. Turns out TwinSource is more than peanuts. We were the only customers in the place. The two "salesmen" were literally leaning on a counter chit-chatting. Once they heard our plumber isn't one of their "approved contractors," they wouldn't have thrown water on us if we'd caught on fire. We wanted to see the various colors of Kohler sinks--it's hard to get a good sense of color on a laptop monitor. When we asked one of the lounging salesmen if a particular sink was the color we're looking for, he actually said, "Everything we have is on display." Uh huh. I get that, but that doesn't answer our question. When pressed, he said he couldn't remember which color is which (they aren't labeled) because, "everyone buys white sinks these days." Okaaaay. Sorry to interrupt nap time at the day care. We'll go someplace else.

The dozen crayola colored pencils to add to those baskets? 50 cents each. The big screen TV's and some other things I saw were over priced but the lady said they would entertain all offers if they are reasonable. I mean, they had air hoses next to garden planters and straps and good grief! They simply carry a lot of random shite. Did I mention circular saw blades? Yep, they had those too.
