Today I want to say that their staff is among the best! I had a bit of emergency yesterday...when I called, I spoke to Regina who is very kind and helpful...there were no immediate appts with Dr Markos so she transferred me to Triage where I spoke to Lisa. Again, outstanding help and took all my information and sent it over to Dr. Markos. She called back with directions from Dr. Markos for me to go to the ER. Today I called to see if Dr Markos had any cancellations so I could see him soon. Spoke to another young lady who was also wonderful and did find me an appointment. The "staff" often get forgotten or lost in the reviews with doctors taking precedence. But these ladies went above and beyond and I feel need the recognition as well. So thank you to them and all of the great staff at US Digestive Health. I couldn't be more thankful!

There seem to be a lot of miscommunications and confusion at the receptionist but finally they called my name and took me back to where all the action is. The nurses and the doctor were professional, and very very nice. Next thing I know, I woke up with candid photos of my sphincter. No I'm not posting them. All in all it was a good experience and I'm willing to forgive the front of the house. They probably just got a little behind (get it?).

At the time, I didn't quite know the capabilities of functional medicine and was hesitant that I could restore my health. I had spent months using a wheelchair due to joint flares from Rheumatoid arthritis. And I was lethargic and in a debilitating brain fog due to hypothyroidism. All of which showed up in just a few months after taking a course of doxycycline. Dr. J was patient with me and answered my questions thoroughly. He ran some diagnostic tests to learn what exactly was going on with my body as a whole such as intolerances and deficiencies. Why was it that I went from good health to chronically ill in such a short timeframe? He gave me a diet to follow as well as some supplements to take (one being a probiotic that has become a staple in my daily life). He was very reasonably priced compared to other doctors. Dr. Patton was my Father's doctor for 32 years. When he got diagnosed with Lung Cancer and went in…read moreHospital she made no attempt to go see him or even CALL HIM! Insult to injury she did not attend his memorial nor send a card to his wife (also his patient). Her lack of sensitivity speaks volumes about her lack of character. She abandoned my Dad in his time of need and he was both hurt and confused on top of dealing with the surprise diagnosis that took him out in less than a month. Dr. Patton KNEW he had a smoking history (he'd been quit for 35 years). When he complained of chronic fatigue it NEVER dawned on her that it could be Cancer. With his history this should have been one of her first concerns...NOT! Any doctor worth their salt knows that a former smoker is at high risk for Cancer. He had probably smoked for 30 years. Dad was really good about keeping on top of his health and went for regular check ups, ate right and exercised regularly. It was her job to make sure he had a chance against an insidious disease like Cancer. She should have been ordering Spiral CT Scans on him annually. If she did this Cancer would have been found early enough to treat and he'd be alive today. The National Cancer Institute recommends this (so for all you smokers and former smokers talk to you doctor about annual Scans...if your insurance will not pay for it there are tons of places that do them inexpensively!) In Japan they do this test as part of routine check ups and people do not die there of Lung Cancer...they've been doing this for YEARS! Dr. Patton clearly does not keep up with the proper diagnostic tools to catch Cancer early. This makes her a danger to her patients. If she's your doctor, run don't walk away from her hideous brand of medical and emotional negligence! Her incompetence coupled with her insensitivity are abhorrent and all of you deserve better in a doctor.

I tried for over a week to get my prior authorization, it was never processed and they stopped answering my calls. This happened to me on 2 occasions, the second visit I was told my urine specimen was lost and that I needed to come back to take a new one, by this time I filed a grievance with my insurance company and later received a letter from Dr.Bruno's office stating that I broke my contact-If the world were not consumed with covid 19,I would obtain legal council. Praying the next person has a better experience.
