Today I called because the online booking system was not working for me, and I was trying to make an appointment. Nick answered the phone and immediately acted annoyed that I even called. Instead of helping, he told me my phone was "the only phone in the world" not working and basically blamed me for the issue. When I asked if there was another way to schedule an appointment, he cut me off and said, "Listen buddy, I don't have time for this right now. Can you come in in 15 minutes or not?" The entire conversation was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional from start to finish. I even had to ask multiple times just to get his name because he refused to give it at first. I can honestly say after that interaction, I would never let Nick anywhere near my hair with a pair of scissors. Customer service like that is unacceptable, especially for someone representing a business people are supposed to feel comfortable walking into.

My partner (Cody) has made the point to ensure the barber shop is a welcoming and safe space for any of his clients. I asked for the 4, but i mentioned, I would call if by some crazy scenario my afternoon photo shoot went wrong. They are "too busy for last minute cancellations" Seriously? I wasn't cancelling just giving a remote possibility to be rather up front. Obviously can't do 6:30 appt with a 7pm client dinner. He can cancel on me any time. He is my "client" As an update. I made it to my 3:45 hair appointment with another salon. I would have gladly given a credit card for a missed appointment. Because I do understand time is money. But I don't see that being an issue in the future.
