The Be Bright campaign is a great direction, with lots of refined basics and cool patterns. 60- day return policy too, which is unrivalled. The Eaton Centre location is my absolute favourite. They tend to have the largest selection and newest arrivals first, and are really good at stocking all sizes. The store is always neat and the lines well managed; no easy feat in the Eaton Centre. The staff are also great at helping you find sizes, and the fitting room is staffed and clean. They're consistently on the ball, and that keeps me coming back!

I had to return something purchased online, but when I arrived at the store (oh yeah, that's the other thing, you can return online purchases to a store location, rather than posting it back to them) the sales person pointed out to me that I had exceeded the 45 days for returning online purchases. Ugh! Having sacrificed a good portion of my lunch to walk over to the Eaton Centre location to return these purchases, my heart started to sink...but lo and behold, the sales clerk smiled and said that he could probably override the return and process it anyway, and you know what? The staff was great. The group of guys who worked that day were all friendly and engaging. They were pushy and very helpful. The store is kind of enormous with tons and tons of stuff, mostly clothing (men's and women's) with other cool accessories, bags, shoes, etc. They had a lot of cool Toronto t-shirts there perfect for the tourist like me and the local who wants to rep their city. Prices were reasonable to slightly high depending on how you gauge things. I could have definitely bought more here but I was trying to watch my budget- I couldn't blow all of my money on my first shopping trip. This is the perfect place to pick up a gift for someone, whether that someone is you is to be determined. And if I'm in that part of town when I'm back in Toronto, I'll be back for sure.

There is still one picture posted of the old tiny store. This new showroom is bigger and packed with new items. They now sell all kinds of products and hardware like their display tables and all kinds of nick knacks. It was always the brands that got me hooked on Neon -- Vans, Converse, Doc Martens and now Kodiak boots along with clothes from Element. Their latest signature line is from Fjällräven Kånken in Sweden where everything they make is a hit, all killer and no filler sort of thing. Expensive, but worth it for anyone who is active. Some of their products are more technical in nature but the colours and styles are outstanding and tasteful. They winter coats and jackets make sense for our climate and eschews the down overkill of what you normally see on the streets of To. Neon, glad to have you back!

This Winners was a shoe store (I'm thinking it was Globo) when this plaza first opened. I remember not enjoying my experience at this shoe store because there weren't any women's size 11 footwear to delight me. I am grateful for this Winners. I came here after work on a Thursday. I found a parking spot fairly close to the store and backed into it. I then walked in. I hit the jewellery section first. This store has a lot of fun pins. I loved the lobster and crab ones. The problem? I don't wear pins often. If I did, I would have bought them. This store had some great finds. I got a pair of tweezers with strawberries on them for $5. They work well! I liked the drinkware section. From glass tumblers to martini glasses, it has everything for everyone. The shoe section was fabulous. The women's size 11 section was amazing. I ended up getting a lightweight pair of Converse high-top sneakers with floral embroidery. They felt so good when I tried them on. I will say that putting away items needs help here. I had to move a stack of clothing on a bench so that I could sit down and try on the sneakers. I put them on the floor. Once I was done trying them on, I scooped up the pile of clothing and placed them bak on the bench. I was in the footwear section. Clothing shouldn't be there. The washrooms are at the back of the store. I didn't need to use the washroom, but it was good knowing its location. I also got a bag of Pur gum in grape. I like that this gum is sugar-free. I forget that the flavour dies fast. There wasn't a massive lineup at the checkout. I got a friendly man who scanned my Style+ card, followed by my items. I tapped my credit card to pay for my items. Done! He wished me a happy day. I reciprocated and left with my goods. I'm glad that I got to revisit this store. It's decent. I'd return again when I'm in the area. (195)

It's part of parent TJX Companies holding that also includes Marshalls & HomeSense so you might notice some similarities in how all these stores is layed out. Winners stores have brand name clothing, footwear, bedding, furniture, fine jewellery, beauty products, and housewares. The consumer target market is drop-in customers as you can't shop on-line (...which is currently the case). On any given week they can stock a product you may never see stocked again. Other Winners stores may not have the same product on hand. If you like it, then I suggest you buy as you can always return it if you change your mind. My sweetie completed her professional browsing in under 25 minutes! She found a few things...but wanted more. Maybe next time...
