First glance, it's ... basic but I do have to admit the materials do put this above your average spot. I do find the store to be open... like OPEN. I would even dare say the store is under utilized because there is a lot of space and sparse inventory on the racks. Everything is in the basic black and white. Nothing is eye catching and I'm not sure if it's meant to be that way. I often find the store empty all the time. So yes... basic fashions. Simple, functional, and well made. There are lots of flowy lines in the women's side. It strongly reminds me of a paired down simplier aesthetic compared to Club Monaco. You won't find heavy materials or pin tucks. Size way, it's generous ... maybe they grow them bigger in Vancouver but even the slimmer cuts are very generous on me. Most lengths hit mid calf which is odd looking for someone who is short (like me). Service is quiet but helpful. I dont think they actually approach or look at you till you need help. When you do, they're willing to step it up and find what you need. Price wise, this is where it excels better than Club Monaco. You get nicer materials and wear of these pieces for better pricing. Also, I'm happier to support a Canadian brand. For me personally, I dont think the style is quite mine but if I'm ever needing some good casual clothes, I would be willing to step into this store.

It just shipped and the next day, the item went on sale and now it is only $338CAD. I want a refund for the difference and they are ignoring my emails. Disgusting customer service. BUT this isn't a review about the store, this is a review about my recent ONLINE shopping experience. I would highly recommend never purchasing anything from this retailer from their website. Not only are you going to get slammed with hefty duties ($250), if you need to return the item you need to pay to ship it back to the UK ($85). This is extremely uncommon for online retailers after the pandemic, in my experience most retailers have made it as easy, as simple and FREE to shop with them. The 2 most absolutely frustrating things for me is that the store only brings in up to size 10 UK in many of their clothing items. The second thing is that they refused to except anything back in the store that was purchased online, even though they actually carried what I was trying to return. At the moment, they do have a decent sale ... it's price point is definitely luxury and even with the 50% off, most items are still $100 and up. I was hoping to find a jacket but there was nothing in my size that actually fit. I found it interesting that the tailoring is HUGE... like tent like for an XS. Overall, it's an ok store... you could check it out to see if it has anything interesting but dont expect any help at all.
