Went to this chip shop two nights ago for tea, ordered 2 sausages and chips to go with them, I've previously had food from here and it's been nice but last night was somewhat different, the chips were greasy and pale, I presume they're frying new potatoes, they've changed the sausages yet AGAIN it's been 3 or 4 times in the last year now, they were awful though my daughter bit into them and said that tastes horrid I bit into one and can honestly say I'd agree with her, after the few times they've changed them I said they weren't nice I was told it's good for them to have feedback as they know what the customers think of the food sold, so I rang last night and spoke to a young woman telling her that the sausages tasted awful and that we wouldn't eat them, (bearing in mind what I was told before about feedback) the response I received was "well we can't have sausages for different people they came from the butchers down town"
This would have to be Mills and sons on the market place, My girls and I eat their Southwold sausages and they certainly don't taste like that, they're delicious!
I replied "well they're awful and I'm just letting you know my opinion"
Response from said woman "oh well"
End of conversation........
Needless to say we WON'T ever be eating from there again, they've now lost a loyal customer perhaps a little less sass next time a customer gives feed back on the food might go down better, certainly won't be winning any customer service awards anytime soon.
My advice to anyone planning on going there suck it up if you don't like something because if you say anything it'll fall on deaf ears!
I have to say there are two ladies there who are always pleasant polite and in my experience approachable they are Sophie and sue. read more
