When I was a younger man, Mark's Work Warehouse was a regular stop. Especially, to begin a work season. I bought most of my outdoor weather gear at Mark's in Cal Gary. This store in PG is in Smart Centres mall. The one with Walmart, Home Depot, Tim's and Canadian Tire (which makes sense since they own Mark's). They have a large selection of hiking gear, work supplies and something I never knew.... Scrubs. I've known a lot of health care folks that could have benefited by shopping here. Pay attention, Mr!!! They run a clean store with helpful people and great prices. If they don't have it in their massive selection, they're willing to take the time to order it for you. I was able to find some heavy-duty gloves, a couple sets of thick socks and (dare I say it) a couple thermals. A nice young lady suggested a clever idea. Buy a road workers fluorescent vest to wear on my morning walks. It's simple, yet brilliant. We need a place just like this where I live. I would never get tired of shopping here, I just can't justify driving the 1,500 miles. 09/22 read more
