Cute little neighborhood café. A little country and a lot colorful ceramics. Marmalade Cat Café was a comfortable place to start your morning. The décor was colorful enough without giving you a headache. My husband and I shared 2 sandwiches. The Pesto Chicken, which was edible, but average. I wish I remember what the second sandwich was because it was good, but wasn't on the regular menu. It was a vegetarian sandwich with chickpeas and dill. Wish I took a closer picture to help me jog my memory. In any case, it was a pleasant experience for our trip to Kelowna.

Really like this place. Not much Marmalade or cats, but the theme is spot on. As we were heading into Kelowna we needed to find a breakfast place and what did I do? Check Yelp of course. Plug in my geographical and culinary requirements and presto! This review popped out at me. Fellow friend Yelper Amy T wrote a review here and I just had to check it out. When I entered the place it felt sunny and happy inside. Very good for karma and they offered gluten free items too. Decent assortment of teas. Fresh coffee and salads. Seating is casual communal sit where you like. Ok well don't sit in the floor, but y'know what I mean. I had to try the croissant breakfast sandwich with ham and cheese. That was it. Good enough to fill the tummy and satisfy the inner growlys. It's a nice happy place to come and enjoy some beverage and a paper.

I love this little cafe. It's eclectic and has all sorts of alternative eating options: vegetarian, gluten free and vegan. One of my favourite parts of spending any time there is the staff. They are happy, friendly and always ready offer a recommendation for something yummy. All the muffins and scones are made in house first thing every morning. I love their Morning Glory muffin. They also make the BEST London Fog in Kelowna. The teas are loose leaf and you can tell the difference. My favourite drink is an extra hot half sweet almond milk London Fog. Check it out! You won't be disappointed. And ps - I like it so much I got a job there! Hope to see you soon :)

This is a quaint little cafe with a lovely gift shop attached. Wood floors give it a very warm welcoming ambiance. The food is great especially the scones and soup. This is a go to place for me and mum or my sister and I when I'm in town for catching up over brekkie or lunch. Walking through the gift shop afterward is simply a bonus. I have always found a table when I've gone so I've been lucky as this little cafe is busy!

Looks like the name!

Based on a single mocha - this was the best one I'd had in all of Kelowna. Rich and strong.

Slowside Coffee is also located beside Sprout Bread, with a connecting door. I like the ambiance of this third wave coffee shop. I got a cold matcha latte, monkey bread, a blueberry danish, and a scone. The matcha flavor was a bit weak, but the sweetness was fine. The scone was just average in texture. The blueberry danish dough was crispy enough but otherwise just okay. My favorite was the monkey bread, with its nicely moist texture and cinnamon flavor. This café is very popular, even on weekdays. The service is nice and friendly. Next time, I must try their toast or hard bread, which looked very good. Those must be their signature items that I should have tried.

We tried the Toast and Blueberry Honey Jam ($6) - it was 2 pcs of freshly baked sourdough bread with a side of butter and a choice of spread. The sourdough perfectly complimented the butter and jam! Also tried The Gardener ($12) - it had sweet peppers, tomato, pickled red onion, cucumber, greens, magic green sauce, & hummus. We were looking for something light, and this sandwich hit the spot perfectly! I really liked the hummus and felt that it tied the whole sandwich together. Loved their iced mocha ($6.50)! Found everything quite affordable, and it's a spot I'm definitely coming back to!

I had a tasteful chicken and vegetable soup and chicken salad sandwich, great Portions of salad. Kids had Mac and cheese and lasagne with salad. We all really enjoyed this place and for four of us less than 50 dollars. If you want a tasty lunch with a healthy twist, this is the place and the coffee to wash it down was smooth. Service spot in as well.. clearly a winner and although we are on vacation for a week, we agreed we wanted to come back again before leaving.

It was busy when we were in. We got what we paid for. This isn't the type of place I would normally choose to eat at and there weren't any vegan options on the menu so I got a summer salad without chicken or cheese. The salad was pretty small and was a typical one with lots of shredded iceberg lettuce and came with two little slices of bread on the side. The bread had a bit of sweetness and raisins in it. I personally prefer salads with at least mostly mixed greens or more spinach but iceberg gives a better profit margin. I saw this place had good reviews but nothing that I saw and what I ate - none of it really wowed me. It seemed like food that someone could easily make themselves at home. Overall it is a very cute little place with a very homey feel and the dinnerware they use is very colourful and cute. The service was good and the lady that brought our food to us was very nice and friendly.
