Sadly on that day they were out of these waffles. But we bought some bread and some sweet pastries. It's a popular place. There was quite a line. But it's worth waiting. Nice setting, friendly staff and wonderful products. Even though no waffles, the pastry we bought were also of very high quality. So was the bread. Really nice, freshly made products. Way better than other bakeries we've tried in and around Bruges. So, if you are near this bakery it's definitely worth stopping by. Or even a longer drive. We loved it.

I had the warm goat cheese and bacon salad. It was very good. Sweetness of the corn balanced out the creaminess of the cheese and the saltiness of the bacon. We ordered light as I do not enjoy 'bulking up' in the morning when I know that I will be doing a lot of walking and exploring. A pastry each and some coffee was our meal. I was a little disappointed that I didn't order more after seeing some of the breakfasts they were serving. Everything just looked so good. Our waitress was lovely and took very good care of us despite us having a very small breakfast. She was extremely appreciative of the tip we left. Plenty of "block " seating outside. Not a very good lap eater but at least I didn't make a mess!
