Be considered of others time. This business has a history of negative reviews regarding appointment timing. Communication, timing and being apologetic to customers would be helpful. I was referred to this business from a coworker. Despite the negative reviews regarding appt timing etc I gave this company a shot. I schedule the appointment and the day of 8:08am I texted to confirm if our appointment time was still on. No reply so I decided to called since online it showed that the business opens atb10am. Good thing I called because OF COURSE he told me he would be late and be there around 9:30-9:35 am. I said ok so I decided to go get a cup if tea. Once I arrived shortly after 9am I was informed that he was actually there. The whole time I'm in his office waiting he was with another customer. Here it is after 10:15 am and I'm still waiting. I finally ask if he had another customer before me because I thought I was his 1st customer. His assistant tells me he had a walk in. I explained to her as well as show her my communication with Marquez that I only arrived after around 9am because he told me he would be late. Not for me to arrive and he puts a walk in in front of me. I explained to him and his assistant that she is the face and he has bad reviews regarding not keeping his appointments but I was a referred and was giving his business a chance. I stated its only right to let someone know what they're doing wrong so they could improve it if possible. So I did just that and let them know that my time is just as valuable as theirs. No apologies nothings. They didn't seems to really care or even want my business. Nice location however the service doesn't live up to the location. read more

Dont ever come here been waiting on my tax returned, its been 3 months and nothing called the IRS and called the state and they told me they don't see anything in there system however Alberto will tell you he sees in the system which now I see is BS! Alberto Marquez scams people! He has no consideration of people's time! He has canceled my appointments at the last minute and he has done the same to other people. He needs to be legally investigated because he cheats the IRS and I will call to have him investigated! He gets you 10k refunds which is probably not honest and if we get audited I guarantee our taxes were not done legally . He is full of crap talking about last year he was sick. The higher you get the harder the fall Alberto! Your company and your people are the worst I have ever dealt with! You will pay for fraudulent activity and I will prove it. You don't even deserve half a star you are zero! And how stupid is it that he changes his phone number all the time. Now his stupid wife is calling me! What does she have to say??? Do not use this "business" they're not professional at all, my First appointment he didn't show up and i wasn't notified so i went to waste my time so it got rescheduled, 2nd appointment i didn't work to take care of my taxes but i got a call saying they forgot it was memorial day so that app needed to be rescheduled, 3rd time i was told 9:30 i arrived and i was told that they were sorry but that they ended up scheduling me at 11:30, so unprofessional and no Respect for other people's time!!! read more

Unfortunately, i do have to take back what I initially said in my first review. I haven't been able to do business with Alberto for the last two years just due to their organization and scheduling. Most recently, I was able to set up an appointment (directly with Alberto Marquez) a week in advance, only to be stood up two hours before our agreed time. I understand if things come and needing to reschedule, but there was no attempt at communication within the week leading up to my appointment. Even worse was that when I messaged Alberto about our appointment, he left me on read, and his admin asst (i'm assuming thats who it was) called me instead to let me know that he actually wasn't coming in or working that day .... The day of our appointment, 2 hours before our appointment time. Again, if there was an emergency, i totally couldve understood that if there was any follow-up, but there wasn't. I would read the previous reviews and think "oh maybe something came up" because it hadn't been MY experience before, but, as anything, it happened and it has shifted my view on these services. I just find that odd as a business practice and I think i'll just take my business elsewhere. read more

We were referred to this guy by a friend. We made an appointment a month out, and it was canceled the day of our appointment. Marquez never responded to my calls or email. Moreover, the gentleman who referred us to this guy has not received his return and does not take his calls. We decided to go somewhere else. read more

He filed 3 years worth of taxes for me and I was in and out within an hour! I definitely recommend!

Marquez income tax is the worst experience I've ever had. I don't know what he did but the irs send me a letter saying that I owed them money. When I contacted him about this he said he would fix it and send out a form to resolve the issue. Now today about 2 months after the first letter I received another letter from the irs about the money I owe them with imposed penalties. He really doesn't know what he's doing. Will never go back seriously if I could rate him lower I would. read more
