We booked a two-bedroom villa and were extremely impressed. The unit had a full kitchen, spacious living room, large dining table, and two full bathrooms, totaling about 1,000 sq. ft. It was easily one of the best villas we've ever stayed in, especially considering the price is far less than many hotels. The location was ideal , just 15 minutes from Universal Studios, which was our main destination. The resort has something for everyone: my older son enjoyed the pool table and fitness center, while my toddler loved the four pools, splash pad, and playground. The pirate ship water feature was a huge hit for both kids. There are also ping pong , mini golf , a huge lake with shaded deck to hang out and two large, semi-private hot tubs, which were perfect for relaxing. For some travelers, resort size matters and while this is a smaller property, I actually liked it that way. I'm not crazy about crowded areas. The grounds are easy to walk, and the amenities felt better than most places we've stayed at. With two pool areas, neither ever felt overcrowded, which made the experience much more enjoyable. We're not overly picky about rooms either as long as they're clean, and bug free which ours surprisingly was ...because honestly, who stays in their hotel room all day at a resort in Orlando? Most of the buildings are within walking distance of the main lobby, and there is a casual dining option on-site near the pool. Check-in was a breeze they even accommodated us with an early 11 AM check-in (official time is 4 PM) and a late 12 PM check-out instead of 10 AM. The flexibility was a big plus. Another perk: there are no additional resort fees, though there is a $25 vehicle fee (with two vehicles allotted per villa). Also , the other reviews about not having pool towels and being charged for towels was not what we experienced. We were given 8 pool towels, which was more than plenty and was not charged for anything additional. We also loved that the resort offers return vacation specials . we booked a 5-day / 4-night package for just $349 through FLip in the front lobby. It was such a great deal that we plan on purchasing another package for a future trip if it's available again. Overall, this resort exceeded our expectations in every way. we will definitely be returning. read more

We rented a 2 bedroom villa for the week and had a great experience. The villa is equipped with a full kitchen and included utensils, dishes, and everything we needed. There's a large kitchen table, spacious living room, 2 full baths, and in-unit laundry. They provide laundry detergent, dish soap, and toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap). There are grills outside, too. The resort is small so it's perfect for little ones. There's 2 pools, a splash pad, and a giant pirate ship with water slides. They also have table tennis, basketball courts, a playground, mini golf, and a fitness center. There's daily activities, some for free and some for a nominal fee. My daughter enjoyed the Dino dig and we did the s'mores night as a family. The grounds are well maintained and the property overlooks a small lake. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping stopped by twice during our stay, but were able to bring towels, more coffee, etc. as requested. You really can't beat the price, amenities, and proximity to destinations like WDW, Universal, and Sea World. Downside is we had to pay for daily parking, but we would stay here again in a heartbeat! read more

The AC just does whatever it wants to do no matter how i set it. Not only that but the vents are pointed right at my face when i lay on the bed so I end up waking up cold/hot with a dry mouth. I couldn't sleep comfortably but to top it off thy decided to do construction in a room next to me with banging and knocking noises so loud it woke my family up at 8am. At first I thought maybe it was guests next door but nope, they were ripping out everything in the room and the knocking and banging noises didn't stop for hours. Never again. Do not stay here. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. The room was extremely dirty and unsanitary. There was urine on the mattress, stains and food in the sofa, hair in the bedsheets and on the walls, spit on the TV, exposed electrical outlets, and multiple items in the room that did not work. See some of the photos of the room I was given. What made the situation even worse was the customer service. I repeatedly tried to address these issues with management throughout my stay, and every time I was met with attitude and runaround instead of solutions. At times the staff was outright rude and dismissive. I spent my entire trip dealing with these problems instead of enjoying my stay, which completely ruined the experience. First and last stay here. Upon arrival the front entrance is very attractive and the employees are very friendly. Check in was super easy and our room was ready early which was a plus. We jumped in the elevator to find the decorative walls chipped and looking ratty. We exit onto the second floor and had that motel 6 feel to it (never stayed in one but served plenty of warrants/arrest at them). Opened the door to our room and immediately noticed the lipstick on a pig. You can tell they thought adding paint and decor would coverup the problems. Here's a list of what needs to be addressed: -scrub the tile floors/grout -reface all cabinets in the kitchen -replace the light switches/outlets -replace the bathroom vanities -replace the tub/surround -clean the sofa/chair -replace the slider to the balcony -replace ALL the wood trim I use to be in the commercial cleaning business and I know when a tile floor was professionally scrubbed and I can tell you these floors were never scrubbed with a machine. Leaves me to wonder how bad the rugs are. I wouldn't allow my children to walk barefoot in the room. The pools are small and get very very very busy. You are aloud to bring your own alcohol to the pool which is nice but people take advantage of this. Kids liked the pirate ship but the slides need to be redone. read more

We are not active members here but we were able to visit for a few days on an offer. While I wasn't here with my son, I can see how much he'd like the pool area and activities here in particular. From my perspective, the condos/rooms were incredibly comfortable and the staff was all great from my interactions with them. We only came here because the resort we NORMALLY patronize had no availability this week. Oddly enough (or maybe not), THAT is the resort literally across the street from THIS one. This resort has a somewhat similar vibe and slew of activities one finds at Cypress Harbour across the street. Similar horridly uncomfortable casual Marriott living room furniture as across the street. This side of the street honored our request for a high floor and an end unit too. That "end" is kinda where this set of similarities "ends" too. This resort has a much smaller footprint. Our villa is smaller in size than what we'd get across the street. Master suite literally only half the size of what we usually receive...comfy enough for two at least. Master bath is a bit tight too. Full sized kitchen is smaller too, and it doesn't have a full sized "breakfast bar" either. Just two seats kinda smooshed into the passage between the kitchen and dining/living area. Dining room table is really like a banquette with 3 chairs added so you can fit six at what amounts to a butcher block table. Makes me wonder how they can ever expect one can fit a family of SIX in here. Since there are two double beds in the second bedroom, I guess that's what they try to do. I guess some people have lower budgets than others...Second bath opens to the bedroom as well as the foyer. It features a tub rather than a standalone shower; no tub in master suite at all. Fitness center, small convenience store and a bar/grill type all day restaurant available with basic short order type food. I have no observations on any of these things since I didn't patronize these facilities. Same is true of the heated pool which is next to our building; all seems nice though. As I said, this property is much smaller than our usual property of choice. The latter is much more of an oasis than this place. For one thing I-4 and its associated noises are outside the front bedroom for one to hear and see...Blech! Master suite is better in that respect and one gets a "lake" view instead. Shopping centers and other development still infringe however. Villa is in a decent state of repair for the most part. Light switches are oddly arrayed and it's a bit frustrating to figure out which (tastelessly ugly) fixtures are controlled by what switches. At least the thermostat is easy to figure out. Kitchen has basic gadgets and cookware...just enough to make do; actually conveniently so! Would we return, you ask? Only way to answer that in the positive is IF Cypress Harbour has no availability on a future week we visit this area we call a home away from home. Friendly employees here just like there; a lot for one's money as timeshare owners too; just not as much as across the street. Four stars here only because three is a bit too little. read more

BUGS, BUGS, BUGS !!! Visited recently for a week, stayed in building 31/30. The first unit was assigned on one first floor of 31, opened the door to find bugs all over the counters, and end tables. We basically walled in and walked back out, and we were moved to a new unit on six floor of 30. Walked in new unit to find it dirty and also some bugs. At this point, it was 11:30pm. So, I went to 7/11 and spent over $20 to buy cleaning supplies and bug killer. Slept there for the night to wake up to bite marks and blood on the sheets ... BED BUGS !!! Property management was no assistance! I will never stay here again, and as a Marriott Titanium, I am always traveling. This was definitely one of my worst experiences at a Marriott property. read more

We've been here twice. The service has always been great. They have an abundance of activities for children. The younger and or drinking crowd has several things to participate in. The "I want to relax" crowd has an abundance of places to go. The location is great. It's close to Disney and SeaWorld. However, you can stay in the resort and be well entertained. Some of the things are a little pricey but you're paying for comfort. The maid service was great. They came by daily. I can't think of the last time that happened while traveling. You will not get any golf discounts at the Grande Vista Golf Course by staying here. Yet, it's only 8 minutes away from the resort. read more

Got to our VRBO rental only to find out it was no longer a rental. So at 6p on New Year's Eve in Orlando Disney area, we needed to find a place for 6 people. We lucked out and snagged the last 2 bedroom villa at Marriott's Harbour Lake. The property is amazing - wishing we had an extra day to stay and just enjoy all of the amenities. Several pools, water play areas, basketball courts, field for soccer/flag football/lacrosse, ping pong & pool tables, fire pit and more we didn't even get to see. If you have young kids, they have tons of activities and play areas for them. The villa was very nice. Our room had a bedroom with 2 double beds and its own bathroom. The master had a king bed with its own bathroom. It had a large shower with great water pressure (a must after a long day at the parks). Beds were super comfy and towels were plentiful (including pool towels). The villa also had a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room and screened in patio area. Each bedroom and living room had their own TV's. This property is actually part of Marriott's Vacation Club, which makes it extra nice if you can score a room for a couple of nights. We will definitely try to stay here next time we come to Orlando. read more

Fantastic! This property is tough to book, but we'll worth it if you're able. You drive in and come over a small bridge. The property is tasteful with pastel buildings and feels more like a small town. Upon check-in you enter into a main building with delightful staff. Parking at each building is ample. The room itself was great. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. The second bedroom had to beds, so ultimately you could sleep 6 per double suite. The kitchen was nice with ample space and plenty of sitting room in the general living areas. The property itself has a ton of amenities. Staying on-site for a day won't disappoint. There is plenty to do. Basketball, soccer, games, water slides, special events, mini golf (extra charge), you can rent movies for the room (extra charge), etc. I would have opted to spend more time on property had I known how fantastic it would be. I recommend this property 100%. Also, ease to the amusement parks in the area is wonderful as well. read more

We went as part of a MVC offer to try out the property. We weren't obligated to listen to a presentation as part of the offer but upon arrival our concierge offered us a $250 gift card to attend. We decided to go and listen with an open mind. As for the property, it was beautiful. Since it's a vacation club property, you get a lot more space. We had a huge 2 bedroom unit with full kitchen, dining and living room. The only downside is you don't have the wait staff like you would at a traditional hotel. So housekeeping is only once mid-stay (which was perfect for us) but there's not wait staff at the pool taking drink orders, etc. That was also fine for us as you could order on an app and go pick up at the bar. Parking is free which is also awesome. Overall, great experience. read more

I have a love hate relationship with this hotel. It's so helpful to have a full kitchen and lots of space for our family of five, but they are really letting this hotel go downhill. They only partially renovated the rooms, for example, they didn't replace the old disgusting shower floor in the master shower. It is so dingy and dirty, I didn't even want to shower in there. There were also stains on the couch and carpet, hair in the spare blankets, etc. I was just so disappointed by how dirty our room was. The pool area is starting to show it's age as well...the floor of the children's pool is starting to crumble and the pirate ship is faded from the sun. The lifeguards also don't intervene when children are being wild and dangerous. This used to be a great place but I'm not sure I'll come back. read more

This place is nickel and diming for everything and the front desk follow through was terrible. You are charged $25 if you want towels before housekeeping. Mind you they only come every other day. We were charged for self park despite not having a car. We had an envelope mailed to the resort and were charged $10! And I spoke to at least 3 different people to let them know we needed to change our departure date and to let them know we left and put their "I checked out magnet" on the door and we still got charged for the extra night. They told me they could confirm we really did leave early with security tapes!! How insulting! The only redeeming part was the activities/rec staff they were great! read more

I have been coming to Florida annually since I was 8, and this place FAR surpassed my expectations with my 8 &10 year old sons. Constant activities, the staff is incredible, the rooms are SO well stocked for a timeshare owner (transferred from my mom since the early 90s), and honestly amenities far beyond our Universal Studios hotel earlier in the week. I cannot speak highly enough about this place, and it's sensational employees - give them ALL a raise, please! Your staff will make or break it and they're currently slaying it! read more

Just don't stay here unless you are looking for the Grinch. We paid for a surprise birthday cake and balloons for my 12-year old son and received NOTHING. "They forgot". Because this was pre-arranged, we did not have a secondary cake on standby and my son went without a birthday cake. The room was cold and we could not heat it because there was a problem with the heater and they had no one who could fix it. The shower ran cold in less than 10 minutes, and if all that wasn't bad enough, I was bit a dozen times on each leg by fleas. I spent hours on the phone the first night trying to get help with the heater and cold water, and eventually slept in hoodie and sweats. An engineer showed up day 2 to fix heater and water heater. They never made amends for the missing birthday cake or the flea bites. Melissa the manager had REALLY bad attitude, lectured me why they had no staff to fix the heater or cold water, accepted 0 responsibility for the cake and fleas. She actually lied and said they tried to call to resolve the birthday cake issue which they DID NOT. When I mentioned the flea bites, Melissa argued with me and told me they don't allow animals on the premises. When I asked why I see dogs around, she then said they DO allow service animals. Why was this manager playing games with me??? She then offered an insurance form... FOR FLEA BITES! Clearly this was her way of telling me to get lost. Melissa didn't care about ANY of my issues, was rude, and extremely belittling. So as I mentioned, if looking for the Grinch, come see Melissa because she is vile, with tender sweetness of a sea sick crocodile. I'd NEVER go to a place where dysfunctionality is led by the manager. If there is a problem and most likely there will, you won't receive help in a timely manner, get lectured and probably end up in an argument. Rather than continuing the conversation with Melissa, my family left Whoville (Harbour Lake) and will never return. With so many good people are losing their jobs because of COVID, I'm shocked someone like Melissa the Grinch is still working... and with the public! Shame on you Marriott! read more

This is not necessarily about the hotel, this is about the hotel pool, the name of the pool was Florida Falls. The man working there was gossiping and talking bad about a girl with another person. The man looks Hispanic and he was working on Sunday May 12, in the afternoon so about 6-9pm. He was also yelling at people for going too slow on the slide and for being too slow while going up the stairs. He had such a bad attitude. Another thing I did not like is how dirty the pool water is, I went in the pool with goggles and there were white and brown particles flying around and I could not see anything (again, I had goggles on) read more

Beautiful, extremely well maintained property. The villa is large, clean, kitchen has requisite suppliers necessary to prepare most meals. The staff are well trained and aim to please. They are pleasant, accommodating and literally provide excellent service. The resort is small, so if you like to walk, you will need to exit the resort area, however, the neighborhood is safe. The dining facilities and bars have good food and drinks and are reasonably priced. read more

We had a lovely stay at Marriott's Harbour Lake resort. This is a time share resort, but we are not owners at this location- we used Interval International to exchange to this location. We had the smallest size room, but were located very close to check in which was nice because we arrived late in the evening. The smallest rooms come with one bedroom/living space combo, a nice screened balcony/porch space, and a kitchenette. This includes a coffee pot, microwave, and small refrigerator. Our room was comfy and clean when we arrived. At one point we had a maintenance issue because the battery in our key lock died. The maintenance tech arrived within 15 minutes of our call and had us back in our room with the work complete within 10 minutes of his arrival. I would give him 5 stars :) We did not spend a lot of time at the resort as we were here for parks and visiting friends, so I can't talk about the other amenities or activities- but the staff was friendly and our room was nice- I would definitely come back. read more

Dorian ruined our Palm Beach vacation with our grandson so we decided to do a staycation at Marriott's Harbour Lake. It is a perfect family vacation spot. The property puts you in relaxation mode with a Caribbean feel and tons of amenities. Like most Marriott timeshare properties there is a daily calendar of family fun activities to join in. There are several pool areas and a water playground. The Shipwreck Landing is my grandson's favorite. It has water slides and water cannons that gently spray water as you play. There are BBQ grills next to picnic areas and a game room. They have a couple of dining options on the property for those who do not want to use their kitchen. One is a kiosk with grab and go food and the other is The Patio Bar and Grill. Going off property or having restaurant delivery is a nice option if you do not want to cook. The villas are nicely done with separate living and dining areas and big bedrooms. The screened porch overlooks beautiful trees and a lake. The resort offers ...free resort fees, WiFi and parking. read more

I absolutely loved Marriott Harbour Lake. We stayed here for a week for vacation and had an amazing time. All of the staff was very welcoming and nice. Lots of activities to do onsite like mini golf, magic shows, movie night, and many more. Karaoke was our favorite! Our room was very spacious and had a great smell when we first walked in. The rooms and the resort was so clean and spotless! The only con I have is that I wish the resort had more dining options. I felt like they were limited some lunch and dinner options but other than that it was great. I came here for a week stay during my trip to Disney World. This is a wonderful, beautiful hotel with a lovely staff and spacious rooms. Things I liked: The hotel is on lockdown. The security is very good. You can't even walk in without security checking on you making sure you're a guest. They have grills outside and tables for you to sit down and eat at if you want to stay outside. Washers and dryers in the rooms. Two pools. Kid friendly as well with a cute pirate ship. Multiple hot tubs. Nice porch/balconies. Very good bar/restaurant connected to the pool. Food is very good and drinks are even better. Also very reasonably priced. Things I didn't love: They make you pay for laundry detergent after giving you one for free. You can't grill after 11pm and security will stop you on the dot. Fitness center is just ok. Small but clean with adequate machines. Open 24/7 though. I would 110% stay here again. The rooms are very nice. We had a two bedroom two bathroom with 3 beds total and a pullout couch. Full kitchen with a dish washer. Very nice place to stay. read more

We bought in the property here 11 years ago and live coming back to our home resort. You could stay the whole week and never have to leave except to stock up on food to cook. This place deserves more then 5 stars. The room was very clean and super welcoming. We asked for blankets for the pull out couch and they came within 10 to 15 mins. We then got a call making sure we received the blankets. The staff here do thier best to make sure thier customers are pleased. There's also tons of activity's for kids planned each day. They even have adult workout classes in the morning. They have jumbo family games like checkers and chess. They have golf, soccer and other stuff to do.They have a braider and temporary tattoo artist. There's two bars !!! The pool is super clean and heated for when it's not so warm, still allowing for more fun. They also have nice lounge chairs that are super comfy. There's live bands at the pool every other day. The pirate ship is awesome if you have younger kids, keeps them busy for hours. Having multiple hot tubs so they don't get crowded which is awesome . This place is worth every penny and is made for all ages. I would definitely come back if I'm in the Orlando area again. It is gated entrance. Located close to SeaWorld. We stayed in the king guest room. It also has sofa bed and a kitchenette area which was perfect for us. A mini refrigerator, large microwave, small sink. Also dishes, cups and silverware. The room had a door for a conjoined if traveling with friends or family. I loved the terrace. We got to see the fireworks in the distance. It was screened in so no bugs. We went to both pools. The shipwreck pool has a ship with slides for the kids then a pool. They had a DJ when we were there. There is a bar and grill there. We got some of the frozen drinks that were good. The other pool is across the street. It has a hugh splash pad area. Then a pool that you can walk in gradually. The other side of pool has a big slide. The kids has a great time. I noticed a mini golf and paddle ball recreation area. We didn't get to use. They also have a grill and fitness center and sport court. We were there only 2 nights and have young children therefore didn't use all the facilities. read more
