This is one of our favorite properties. We stayed for about 16 days in May and loved every moment. 2 bedroom is very big, lovely staff all around, great pools, super clean.

Do not stay here. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. The room was extremely dirty and unsanitary. There was urine on the mattress, stains and food in the sofa, hair in the bedsheets and on the walls, spit on the TV, exposed electrical outlets, and multiple items in the room that did not work. See some of the photos of the room I was given. What made the situation even worse was the customer service. I repeatedly tried to address these issues with management throughout my stay, and every time I was met with attitude and runaround instead of solutions. At times the staff was outright rude and dismissive. I spent my entire trip dealing with these problems instead of enjoying my stay, which completely ruined the experience. Save yourself the frustration and stay somewhere else.

First and last stay here. Upon arrival the front entrance is very attractive and the employees are very friendly. Check in was super easy and our room was ready early which was a plus. We jumped in the elevator to find the decorative walls chipped and looking ratty. We exit onto the second floor and had that motel 6 feel to it (never stayed in one but served plenty of warrants/arrest at them). Opened the door to our room and immediately noticed the lipstick on a pig. You can tell they thought adding paint and decor would coverup the problems. Here's a list of what needs to be addressed: -scrub the tile floors/grout -reface all cabinets in the kitchen -replace the light switches/outlets -replace the bathroom vanities -replace the tub/surround -clean the sofa/chair -replace the slider to the balcony -replace ALL the wood trim I use to be in the commercial cleaning business and I know when a tile floor was professionally scrubbed and I can tell you these floors were never scrubbed with a machine. Leaves me to wonder how bad the rugs are. I wouldn't allow my children to walk barefoot in the room. The pools are small and get very very very busy. You are aloud to bring your own alcohol to the pool which is nice but people take advantage of this. Kids liked the pirate ship but the slides need to be redone.

    The view from our room

We have stayed here numerous times, and we love it for this wonderful atmosphere. It's a haven for families and kids, making it an ideal vacation spot. If you choose to stay put, you'll find that everything you could possibly need is right at your fingertips. The restaurant offers delicious food, and you have the option to stock your room for added convenience. The pools and water park are absolute highlights, and the vibrant music and engaging events truly elevate the experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this place for families with children! It's just as enjoyable for adults, but kids will love it!

We only came here because the resort we NORMALLY patronize had no availability this week. Oddly enough (or maybe not), THAT is the resort literally across the street from THIS one. This resort has a somewhat similar vibe and slew of activities one finds at Cypress Harbour across the street. Similar horridly uncomfortable casual Marriott living room furniture as across the street. This side of the street honored our request for a high floor and an end unit too. That "end" is kinda where this set of similarities "ends" too. This resort has a much smaller footprint. Our villa is smaller in size than what we'd get across the street. Master suite literally only half the size of what we usually receive...comfy enough for two at least. Master bath is a bit tight too. Full sized kitchen is smaller too, and it doesn't have a full sized "breakfast bar" either. Just two seats kinda smooshed into the passage between the kitchen and dining/living area. Dining room table is really like a banquette with 3 chairs added so you can fit six at what amounts to a butcher block table. Makes me wonder how they can ever expect one can fit a family of SIX in here. Since there are two double beds in the second bedroom, I guess that's what they try to do. I guess some people have lower budgets than others...Second bath opens to the bedroom as well as the foyer. It features a tub rather than a standalone shower; no tub in master suite at all. Fitness center, small convenience store and a bar/grill type all day restaurant available with basic short order type food. I have no observations on any of these things since I didn't patronize these facilities. Same is true of the heated pool which is next to our building; all seems nice though. As I said, this property is much smaller than our usual property of choice. The latter is much more of an oasis than this place. For one thing I-4 and its associated noises are outside the front bedroom for one to hear and see...Blech! Master suite is better in that respect and one gets a "lake" view instead. Shopping centers and other development still infringe however. Villa is in a decent state of repair for the most part. Light switches are oddly arrayed and it's a bit frustrating to figure out which (tastelessly ugly) fixtures are controlled by what switches. At least the thermostat is easy to figure out. Kitchen has basic gadgets and cookware...just enough to make do; actually conveniently so! Would we return, you ask? Only way to answer that in the positive is IF Cypress Harbour has no availability on a future week we visit this area we call a home away from home. Friendly employees here just like there; a lot for one's money as timeshare owners too; just not as much as across the street. Four stars here only because three is a bit too little.

BUGS, BUGS, BUGS !!! Visited recently for a week, stayed in building 31/30. The first unit was assigned on one first floor of 31, opened the door to find bugs all over the counters, and end tables. We basically walled in and walked back out, and we were moved to a new unit on six floor of 30. Walked in new unit to find it dirty and also some bugs. At this point, it was 11:30pm. So, I went to 7/11 and spent over $20 to buy cleaning supplies and bug killer. Slept there for the night to wake up to bite marks and blood on the sheets ... BED BUGS !!! Property management was no assistance! I will never stay here again, and as a Marriott Titanium, I am always traveling. This was definitely one of my worst experiences at a Marriott property.

Fantastic! This property is tough to book, but we'll worth it if you're able. You drive in and come over a small bridge. The property is tasteful with pastel buildings and feels more like a small town. Upon check-in you enter into a main building with delightful staff. Parking at each building is ample. The room itself was great. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. The second bedroom had to beds, so ultimately you could sleep 6 per double suite. The kitchen was nice with ample space and plenty of sitting room in the general living areas. The property itself has a ton of amenities. Staying on-site for a day won't disappoint. There is plenty to do. Basketball, soccer, games, water slides, special events, mini golf (extra charge), you can rent movies for the room (extra charge), etc. I would have opted to spend more time on property had I known how fantastic it would be. I recommend this property 100%. Also, ease to the amusement parks in the area is wonderful as well.

We went as part of a MVC offer to try out the property. We weren't obligated to listen to a presentation as part of the offer but upon arrival our concierge offered us a $250 gift card to attend. We decided to go and listen with an open mind. As for the property, it was beautiful. Since it's a vacation club property, you get a lot more space. We had a huge 2 bedroom unit with full kitchen, dining and living room. The only downside is you don't have the wait staff like you would at a traditional hotel. So housekeeping is only once mid-stay (which was perfect for us) but there's not wait staff at the pool taking drink orders, etc. That was also fine for us as you could order on an app and go pick up at the bar. Parking is free which is also awesome. Overall, great experience.

If you don't follow your GPS like it's the voice of God, you'll drive past this place at least 10 times wondering if you're being pranked. Once you finally find it, though, you're in for a surprise. The hotel is attached to a magnificent steakhouse and gives off this classy vineyard-patio vibe that makes you feel like you're about to attend a wine tasting, even if you're just there for work like I was. Walking up, there are beautiful outdoor tables with glass tops where guests can relax, eat, and pretend they're important. Then you walk into the lobby and BAM dark wood floors, elegant furniture, comfortable sofas, and enough atmosphere to make you wonder, Wait what did I accidentally book? I was honestly concerned I'd somehow clicked the wrong hotel and was about to max out my credit card. Nope. Surprisingly affordable. The room? Fantastic. You've got a Keurig machine ready to fuel your caffeine addiction, a nice big TV, all the amenities you need, and then there's THE BED. Listen, I don't know if it's a pillow-top, a cloud-top, a Sleep Number, a NASA mattress, or if angels personally fluff it every afternoon, but that thing is dangerous. I laid down for what felt like five minutes and woke up the next morning. I slept harder than a newborn after a bottle. Now let's talk about room service. They have this little stand where you order directly from the steakhouse downstairs. I ordered dinner, expecting hotel prices that require a small bank loan. The bill was $35. I nearly called the front desk to report a pricing error. Meanwhile, I was hungrier than a hostage, and they delivered a meal fit for royalty. For a brief moment, I genuinely felt like a VIP. The hotel also has a nice bar for those who enjoy a drink. I don't drink, but if I did, I probably would've celebrated finally finding the entrance. Bottom line: great atmosphere, beautiful property, comfortable rooms, amazing food, affordable prices, and a mattress that may have supernatural powers. Would I stay here again? Absolutely. Would I still need GPS to find it? Also absolutely.

Upon check-in, no one offered to assist with our luggage. After locating a luggage cart ourselves, we had to push it what felt like the distance of four football fields just to reach our room. Unfortunately, the room itself was tired, dated, and long overdue for renovation. It had not been cleaned thoroughly, and there was visible mold. The room also felt damp and musty throughout our stay. The biggest frustration came when we tried to bathe our children, only to discover there was no hot water. I repeatedly called the front desk from both the room phone and my iPhone, but no one answered. After receiving no response, I walked the long distance back to the lobby while calling the front desk the entire way. The phone rang continuously, yet no one picked up. When I arrived, the front desk appeared to be staffed by a young employee who never looked up because she was focused on her personal phone. I pointed out that the hotel phone had been ringing the entire time. She initially replied that she hadn't heard it, then noticed it ringing and answered it. When I asked about the lack of hot water, I was told the boiler had only recently been turned back on and that it would be approximately an hour before hot water would be available. What made matters even more concerning was that, because of the damp conditions and what appeared to be mold in the room, our children became ill during our stay. Their condition ultimately required a visit to an urgent care clinic for medical treatment. Whether the room caused their illness cannot be stated with certainty, but the condition of the room certainly heightened our concerns. The pool area was equally disappointing. It is in desperate need of renovation. Paint was peeling throughout the area, many surfaces appeared worn and neglected, and the pool water itself did not appear to be maintained to the standard one would expect from a Hilton property. During our stay, I received a text message asking how everything was going. I honestly shared the concerns outlined above. To the hotel's credit, they responded by offering Hilton Honors points and complimentary use of a pool cabana. While I appreciated the gesture, even that experience became another disappointment. Upon entering the cabana, we discovered that neither the ceiling fan nor the refrigerator worked. After notifying the staff, I was assured that maintenance would arrive promptly. Unfortunately, no one ever came. After sitting in the sweltering heat for an extended period, I ended up repairing the fan myself. I remember telling my wife, "I didn't come on vacation to work." For a Hilton property, this level of service and maintenance fell far below expectations. Between the lack of guest service, the poor condition of the room, unanswered phones, the absence of hot water, concerns about cleanliness and possible mold, our children's illness, the deteriorating pool facilities, and repeated maintenance failures, the experience was frustrating from beginning to end. This stay did not reflect the level of quality, hospitality, or attention to detail that guests have every right to expect from the Hilton brand.

One of the two elevators was out of service, it was peak checkout time, and there was also a princess pageant event happening, so the hotel was much busier than usual. Trying to get downstairs with my dog was extremely frustrating. I looked for stairs but wasn't sure if they were alarmed. When I asked an employee to confirm, she looked at me like I had five heads, which didn't help my already thin patience (I definitely did not have enough coffee for that situation). I eventually just went downstairs. Coming back up was even worse -- the line for the single working elevator was ridiculous. When I asked the front desk about the stairs, I was told they were accessible from outside. I didn't realize I needed my key card to re-enter through the outdoor stairwell (which makes total sense -- I was just aggravated at that point). After going back inside and trying again, I ended up walking up five flights of stairs with my dog. Thankfully, we had requested a late checkout, so we avoided the absolute peak of the chaos. Our friends on the third floor ended up carrying their luggage down the stairs because waiting for the elevator wasn't worth it. Unfortunately, being on the fifth floor with a lot of luggage, that wasn't really an option for us. Aside from that stressful morning, we really enjoyed our stay. The complimentary evening happy hour with drink tickets and small bites is always a highlight. We also had breakfast on Saturday morning -- and honestly, the breakfast is a major deciding factor whenever we choose to stay at a Hilton. Overall, a great stay with one very frustrating checkout experience.

Lovely place! It was my first time staying in downtown…read moreorlando. The neighborhood is quiet and pretty with a local lake right off the hotel property. City Hall is nearby with lots of office buildings and a few residential high rises. I was there for a concert at the Kia Center and it was about a ten minute walk. There is also a publix and a convenience store within a 5 minute walk. It is very convenient to get to from the airport via bus if you dont mind the ride and about 20 minutes (depending on traffic) from the international outlet mall. The complementary breakfast was decent with my highlight being the strawberry waffle that i was not supposed to eat LOL. Highly recommend this location if you dont want to stay in the more touristy part of orlando.

Nice and firm for a get night rest or a nap after being at the pool side for a few hours. Walk in closet big bathroom ,living room was cool as well. The rooms give you that old 1960 vibes with a modern touch. The resort also featured some old vintage 1960 cars similar to the TWA hotel at jfk airport. The resort had some nice places to go to. Me and my wife enjoyed the bowling alley. We had a lot of fun. Don't forget about the shops with all your favorite carton characters t shirts hats slippers you name it Star Wars, the minions the Simpsons fun for kids all ages. We also enjoyed the cabana cafeteria . I had a spicy chicken sandwich with fries my wife had chicken teriyaki lomein full of nice pieces of chicken ,Which she enjoyed .I also had some chicken tenders and fries from the cafeteria on our stay. We also ordered food from door dash while we were in the main lobby. We ordered shake shack which was cheaper ordering from door dash then buying food on the resort, smash burgers well done with cheese fries, for a little vacation cheat because I'm on a diet. By the way the order came really fast. Don The pool was great especially at night the view was amazing. With the lights shining on the pool and the really nice fire pit they had so you can even roast some marshmallows by it. Also the pool features a water slide for kids and adults. The blow up rafts were $9to17. You also could bring your own as well. You also had an ice machine with cold water free. Plus you had the soft drinks and soda all you can drink for $30 . That was the drink packed. Cabana bay resort also had a restaurant right next the pool outside. Where they had some really good chicken quesadillas with fries. My wife enjoyed that. . I went with the chicken wrap with lettuce and some veggies, It was great to eat pool side with the beach chairs equipped with the big umbrella for shade . Then you also had the lazy river at the resort. That featured a bigger water slide and pool . Bigger than the pool outside the main lobby. The staff was courteous and friendly the stay was fun. Just remember it's kinda pricey . But don't forget about all the theme parks you get to visit for $80 each way .
