I have to be honest, I don't know if Delaney's Hotel is considered a hidden gem, but hidden? Absolutely. If you don't follow your GPS like it's the voice of God, you'll drive past this place at least 10 times wondering if you're being pranked. Once you finally find it, though, you're in for a surprise. The hotel is attached to a magnificent steakhouse and gives off this classy vineyard-patio vibe that makes you feel like you're about to attend a wine tasting, even if you're just there for work like I was. Walking up, there are beautiful outdoor tables with glass tops where guests can relax, eat, and pretend they're important. Then you walk into the lobby and BAM dark wood floors, elegant furniture, comfortable sofas, and enough atmosphere to make you wonder, Wait what did I accidentally book? I was honestly concerned I'd somehow clicked the wrong hotel and was about to max out my credit card. Nope. Surprisingly affordable. The room? Fantastic. You've got a Keurig machine ready to fuel your caffeine addiction, a nice big TV, all the amenities you need, and then there's THE BED. Listen, I don't know if it's a pillow-top, a cloud-top, a Sleep Number, a NASA mattress, or if angels personally fluff it every afternoon, but that thing is dangerous. I laid down for what felt like five minutes and woke up the next morning. I slept harder than a newborn after a bottle. Now let's talk about room service. They have this little stand where you order directly from the steakhouse downstairs. I ordered dinner, expecting hotel prices that require a small bank loan. The bill was $35. I nearly called the front desk to report a pricing error. Meanwhile, I was hungrier than a hostage, and they delivered a meal fit for royalty. For a brief moment, I genuinely felt like a VIP. The hotel also has a nice bar for those who enjoy a drink. I don't drink, but if I did, I probably would've celebrated finally finding the entrance. Bottom line: great atmosphere, beautiful property, comfortable rooms, amazing food, affordable prices, and a mattress that may have supernatural powers. Would I stay here again? Absolutely. Would I still need GPS to find it? Also absolutely. read more

Me and Hubs did a random staycation in Orlando and stayed here in June. Love that they have parking available close to the hotel entrance. Check in was prompt, informative and friendly! Very pleased about the ceiling fan in the room. Honestly one of the cleanest hotel rooms we've experienced, even compared to more expensive stays. Very spacious room too. We ate at the restaurant on site which was also very good. read more

I'm not sure why this hotel is considered a 3-star hotel. I had better service and amenities here than I've had at a 5-star hotel. The location was very close to restaurants and gas stations. Its right across the street from the hospital. I absolutely loved the room and it didnt smell like mildew. They offer plush bathrobes upon request. I really enjoyed my birthday stay here. This hotel was my saving grace when I was temporarily living on the east coast while searching for a house downtown. We had sold our old house in April of last year, and were house hunting for several long months. During this time, to keep our sanity, we came downtown just about every other weekend, and we usually stayed at the Delaney. I lost count of how many times we stayed here but every experience was excellent. The king rooms we booked were always clean and stylishly decorated and ranged from very comfortable to spacious in size. I don't think we stayed in the same room twice, so we got a good feel for the whole hotel. The staff members were always super friendly and even started to recognize us by the end. One man who was usually working the front desk when we visited even upgraded our room when we stayed the night before the closing on our house, when we told him it would probably be our last visit (although staycations are not out of the question). It also doesn't hurt that there's a great restaurant attached to the lobby! This is the ONLY hotel in Orlando that I recommend to all of my friends who come to visit, and I can't speak highly enough of it. read more

I learned of this hotel a few years back when I ate at the restaurant (see my earlier review restaurant is amazing also). Arriving at this hotel, parking was a little confusing but I'll blame it on the construction in the area and not take a star off. The lobby, rooms and amenities were clean, modern and simple. I didn't take many pictures of the room but they were very nice. The price was kind of steep per night but not overpriced for what was offered and it being the Florida Classic weekend. Did a search hotels in this particular area. This one stood out. Booked one night Sun-Mon. So glad we booked it. The King Deluxe was spotless, spacious and nicely appointed. The bed was very comfortable. Nice touch with movement setting off a night light mirror clock display so you can get to the bathroom with all toes intact. The decor throughout was top notch. Their bar/tavern area was ultra nice and the drinks were good and the staff friendly. We actually took a walk through the neighborhood behind the hotel and enjoyed the beautiful homes. I love this place. The service was great from the check in to the check out. I also ordered room service and the burger didn't impressed me. The bed is a little to soft for me but everyone else slept like a log. Everyone i met there was so friendly and helpful. Will i go back, Yessss sir indeed. Ps if you order from door dash etc they can't come up you have to go down and get your food and its just sitting on the side on the counter which makes me wonder how do they know it belongs to the person getting it. Beautiful hotel, the beds are plush with fine luxury linens and the bathrooms are large, modern and luxe. It is located about a mile from the Amway arena and the Dr. Phillips Performing Art Center and it has a nice restaurant below. I loved our stay here! We are from Texas and went to FL for Disney. We didn't want to stay around the resorts so we chose this hotel. I loved it. The guest services people were nice too. We had a question regarding a charge on the bill at check out and I believe his name was Sean said he'd get with the manager when she came in because it was like 5am when we checked out and she did call us back to explain the charges. Everything was good and they were very nice. The room was very clean and guest services was awesome. We put in an order for an extra towel and TP on the iPad they have in the room and they brought it up so fast. They have a tavern downstairs that looked pretty neat but we did not end up going. There's also a cute little seating area outside. There is covered parking in a garage. They have a gym too. The neighborhood seemed really nice too. Lots of places to eat around there and a few stores like target and tjmaxx. If we come back to Orlando we will def stay here again. read more

We love the Delaney! On a trip to Orlando, we had booked an Airbnb that, upon arrival, was the worst we'd ever seen. We were in search of a hotel that was dog friendly and found the Delaney for a very reasonable price. The concierge assisted us with a seamless checkin at 11pm when we were very tired from the evening's events. Pet fee was $150 for our stay (not sure if this is expensive or not, as it was our first time staying in a hotel with our pup. The decor of the hotel is chic and inviting. Our rooms were sparkling clean, comfortable, and made us feel like we were on a shmancy vaca! They had an espresso machine in the room, as well as a safe, a waterfall shower, and a tv. We will definitely be staying here on our next trip to Orlando! read more

The staff here is amazing! Trent - the manager helped get a conflict with my reservation resolved in a timely and friendly manner. The rooms are very clean and the showers are beautiful (that's a big deal to me) Spacious closet, herbal soaps, Roku tv, and iPad for room service/dining provided - in a standard room! The only down side this hotel has, is the parking garage. Only 6 ft clearance, my vehicle is too big and I had to park behind the parking garage which was very sketchy... so beware if you don't drive a compact vehicle. read more

First time staying here during the NYE weekend. Maddy was extremely helpful and attentive which made our stay so much better. Location was great near the Orlando downtown area. The only downside was the walls are extremely thin and you can hear the neighbors very clearly and that there's no balconies. However I would rate this hotel a 7/10 read more

I have been a loyal Delaney client for over a year now. Every time I go travel to Orlando which used to be monthly I stayed Delaney. When I had to come in this month for work I checked in under my Government name which is Colby and they were very nice about calling me by Blu as it is my preferred first name. However I am giving 3 stars instead of 5 this time because the customer service was really bad this time. Bryan at the front desk had an attitude anytime I called. I was put in a room facing the parking garage even though I requested a room facing Orange Ave. and was told it would be. I didn't bother complaining because they were fully booked for Fathers Day. Please don't get me wrong, the Delaney is a NICE HOTEL, From umbrellas you can borrow, to having the tavern running food up to your room. But when you are a returning client and you get treated poorly it contemplates if you want to come back. So therefore I am contemplating coming back. read more

Wonderful hotel across from O.R.M.C. Extremely clean. We were not at all concerned about the sanitation while staying the week things started opening up during Covid19. This hotel is spotless & smells wonderful. There is valet parking. We self parked in the adjacent parking garage for $4 for overnight. The spacious room had a sleek design with all the comforts including an iPad and an umbrella if needed. My favorite feature was the digital clock in the bathroom mirror. The clock is motioned censored so during the night when you get up, you get just the right amount of light to guide your way without disturbing anyone else. WiFi is $10. The food in the hotel was excellent and reasonably priced. read more

do not book this hotel unless you confirm your room does not face orange avenue. mine did in the corner of the building. I was on the second floor facing orange avenue. there is construction in orange avenue late into the night that was so loud I had to check out at almost midnight. apparently this has been going on since February and it doesn't appear to be ending any time soon. other than the road construction noise it appears to be a fairly decent hotel. too bad I couldn't enjoy it. if you end up in the room I had I doubt you will get any sleep. read more

Found this place my chance. It's been open a few months. The fit and finish of this place is unbelievable. Staff is incredible. Their mission to assure your stay is great. The tech is awesome. iPads in each room tie you into the system. Order anything, get answers to any questions, maps, local info or just ask for assistance and the response is fast. Nate is one of the managers and along with the other management and staff, he went out of his way to be generous, supportive and just a great person. Even though he was extremely busy, I always felt I was his top priority. Best nights sleep I've had. The beds are incredible. The gym was simple but impressive. Being right across from ORMC they are a great addition. The Delaney Tavern is an incredible coupling with this place. There are only 54 rooms and they are booking fast for a reason. Even if you are local you should at least stay one night just to experience it. read more

I love this hotel. All of their staff was super helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Our suite was clean, beautiful, and spacious. The hotel is founded by physicians that care about the safety of their guest and are taking enhanced health & safety measures throughout the property so I felt safe staying there. My stay was relaxing and peaceful. I really did not want to leave. They have a great restaurant downstairs called "Delaney's Tavern" and the free parking is a bonus as well. A very nice, quaint hotel where we had very nice and quite room. A comment is on the espresso machine. Yes it services a select group, but not me. I suggest that a pod machine would see I've the more of the public with options ranging from espresso through all of the coffees, teas and even hot cocoa. read more

AMAZING! The ONLY complaint is that its beside the hospital and it can be quite noisy at times in the night. I spent 3 nights and only one had alot of noise til around 3am, but the complimentary earplugs are a great add and kinda funny. Best hotel burger I HAVE EVER HAD! read more

We happened to just stumble upon through Google (after staying previously at big chains and not enjoying the experiences there), and we absolutely loved the place! Perks 1. RESTAURANT in the Hotel 2. Not sure if this is a perk or just cool, the mirrors in the bathrooms have clocks 3. Conveniently located 4. The Drinks & Food were A+++ -- Biscuits & Gravy I happen to be sitting in the lobby and noticed that everyone behind the counter greeted people as they walked in with such courtesy I have not seen before.
