However, there was no make-up artist provided, she herself was the artist, and did not ask what I wanted for the look or offer me any sort of idea of what my make up would look like. As far as I know, she is not a certified make up artist. She even brushed out my hair that I had styled the day before WITHOUT asking or warning. Still, I was hoping the photos would turn out okay, but in order to even receive 6 digital files from the photo session already paid for in advance, I would need to provide an additional $800. I was not provided any proofs or digital files, nor was this detail included in the contract. Dara sent a separate link with prices to her digital files and sent only once with no follow up. The experience was not delivered as promised and not at all worth the price.

Erin had scouted the location ahead of time, so she had a great sense of purpose and was really creative and flexible in her shots; she was especially interested in what we wanted and in getting the right "feel" for our family. They were also excellent with the small (and not always cooperative!) children in our group. In addition, Erin was super communicative ahead of time and had great suggestions for our pre-shoot questions (wardrobe, locations, etc.). Of course, best of all, the pictures were amazing! We are so grateful to have worked with such generous and incredibly talented photographers; they are worth every single penny.
