Not being a newbie to chiropractic care I took to Yelp to find one who would suit my needs - not all chiropractors are created equal, and certainly not all practice the way I look for. In chiropractors I look for: personalization to my specific issues, thorough diagnosis, layman explanations of what they think the problem is, someone who is willing to work with me on specifics that I want addressed (rack and crack if I want it), and above all a chiropractor who's goal is to get you better and get you out the door instead of trying to suck you into endless visits (like so many do). Yelp came through and I found LeGault! LeGault helped me work through back, neck, shoulder, and hip issues; some had been chronic like the hips, and others like my lower back had just sprung up. Personally, I immediately felt better after my first visit, but came up with a plan for appts. at the first visit to rectify the underlying issues. LeGault was more optimistic than me on how long it would take to correct my problems and I can happily say we beat both of our expectations! I am sure I will be back to LeGault as issues arise due to my active lifestyle, but after this first bout of visits I am confident I've found the right chiropractor for me! I liked how he had patients doing warm-up exercises to help adjustments go more smoothly. I like how he worked on you before just attempting to adjust. I like how he's helped people lose weight. I do not however, like the price. For long-term commitments, the price should not be 70.00/session, even if you're given a couple of pieces of foam to bring home. I truly believed it would be much less, considering a one time adjustment cost 60 bucks. My fault for not doing the math when they pushed the long-term commitment. But if I see another 1 star rating due to people being intentionally over-charged, I will re-ADJUST this review. I'm also going to say, for the sake of anyone suffering a bad back. After months of treatment this time and periodically over the years, I still ended up with issues, but then: I got a Deep, DEEP Tissue massage on Christmas Eve. It has helped my back immensely. After the massage and (not kidding) walking on my back, she stretched me out very similarly to a chiropractic adjustment. It adjusted and a day later, I wasn't hunched over in pain. Two hours of unbelievable bliss for 110 bucks + tip, rather than a 4-minute adjustment. Do yourself a big, big favor - get it done. You deserve it! This place scammed me out of $1500 and double charged me and my insurance company. When my…read moreinsurance tried to confront them about it, they only refunded me $950 and submitted the wrong medical codes for the other items so my insurance was unable to refund me for them. They also said it would take 4 months to fix my back and neck (my neck of which I had simply slept on wrong) and that I needed foot orthotics and physical therapy equipment from them. At my first visit he told me with a flat affect and arrogantly that I had three options: do nothing, take meds for the pain for the rest of my life, or let him fix me. I was shocked by how prideful and degrading this statement was. Dr. Carr was very forceful when he adjusted my back, so much so, that I was lightheaded from the amount of pain my back was in a few hours after the adjustment. My neck, which was causing me the most pain, was never adjusted during the 3 "adjustments" I had there. He'll spend a max of 3 minutes on you and the rest you'll be doing exercises for 20 min before he'll see you. Additionally, I never felt any better after an adjustment. Do not go here. I had gone to him because of the reviews I'd read, but I'm honestly not sure where people are getting that he's "compassionate" and "genuine". This is the opposite of how I would describe him and the practice. Meanwhile, I went to another chiropractor up the road (Legacy Medical Center) who spent 20 minutes on me and was very gentle. I felt so much better after 3 adjustments that I haven't had to go back since. That is the way a legitimate chiropractor should operate.

With Mark, I can tell he is actively assessing me as he adjusts and he is the only chiropractor I have seen who has offered lasting relief. I initially saw him due to numbness down one arm into my hand which he was able to resolve within the first few sessions; it has never returned (it's been ~2 years). However my real issue is chronic lower back pain which varies in its intensity for several years. The pain ranges and baseline I have mild discomfort but can be completely debilitating for about 3 days with extreme pain and difficulty moving. And while it may never fully resolve due to the degenerative nature of my diagnosis and my personal lifestyle habits/patterns I'm working on changing, I now have long periods between the completely debilitating bouts. And when I do tweak my back in a way that I know will progress to a major issue, he accommodates me the same day whether I call or just walk-in. I also have to praise the atmosphere; since it's family run I feel right at home there too. It's a comforting and personal environment rather than a more clinical or sterile one. I love it and highly recommend!
