The lady I spoke to on the early afternoon of September 18, 2025 replied that they closed at 5:30. My oldest daughter and I returned a few minutes after 5 PM only to try a locked door. No note on the door. Such a bummer because I was hoping to get both of my girls new Eagles shirts before the traditional black and gold Friday. They had a ton of T-shirts, sweatpants, sweatshirts, hats, and more when I went in earlier today. They all seemed mostly affordable. Hopefully updating this review soon.

My first ever visit there was 1.17.2025. There was an exceedingly small section for girls sizes 8-18. The plus women's sizes engulfed half of the store. There were women's petite sizes and "regular" sizes on the other half. No one assisted my daughter when she tried a top on nor were the employees welcoming or particularly friendly. The dressing rooms were open, though. They had cute jewelry, belts, purses, shoes, tumblers, and sunglasses too. I walked away with a pair of dangling beaded LOVE earrings for $10.65, Made in India. Organized, clean store. Just disappointed in lack of size availability for me and my daughters plus the absence of high caliber customer service.

You'll notice right away the clean white bricks on the outside. Ample, free parking is available. As soon as you walk in, there is an old-fashioned coin-operated kiddie ride horse. It's adorable. Then there's the polished wood floor. The high ceilings. The uber organized sections for men, women, and children. Multiple dressing rooms. My favorite area is probably hats. There is an attendant specially for that section to get your new hat fitted, shaped, and on your way to the upcoming fair & rodeo in Lea County. I was greeted at the store, but was slightly disappointed at the lack of customer service thereafter. Nonetheless, I will be back for some new jeans. They also sell jewelry, belts, cowboy wallets, coolers, tumblers, and more. Roy Rogers sang, "Let me ride through the wild open country that I love / Don't fence me in." Do it in style too... I was a bit perturbed at not being welcomed when I came in today (October 17, 2025) and another I walked by who made eye contact with me said nothing, but shortly thereafter, three other employees came up to me, smiling asking if I needed assistance. I like most of their clothes, but I simply didn't see anything I was dying to have. At one point, I grabbed a boot jack which I desperately need, especially as I get older. Lol. A young staff member walked up to me and said, "Just to let you know, that's actually $29.99 not $19.99." She was re-labeling them as we spoke. That's precisely why I knocked off a star.

I miss the Tea Room that once was next door, but now it is a different cafe... Outlaw Grill or something. My uncle really enjoyed his ginormous, overpriced green chile burger there recently. I haven't partaken, but back to the boutique... This place offers baby and wedding registries. Many of the items are fairly unique. The clothes, in my humble opinion, are simply overpriced and more geared to more mature ladies. ;) Definitely not my styles or fit. The staff members always have the place open! They rarely IF AT ALL close to set up for Christmas debuts like *cough cough* another place *Horsefeathers* did when I was mostly recently shopping (10/28/20). That's why they get my full 5 star love. Their shoes are very cute and I was able to find a pair very similar to a pair I regretted not getting in Milan (for a lot less money). I got complimented on them the first day I wore them! Moments later another amiable employee asked me if I needed any help. She guided me towards the girls' jeans section. This store has mostly Western wear and "workin' man" gear. I'm happy to report that there were some good options here - a bit on the pricey side - but because of the friendly service and mostly clean and well-kempt place, I'll return. They're open 7 days a week and accept cash or plastic.

I brought them in to see if I could exchange them on 6/21/2023. The young lady I dealt with was amicable, but a bit strange. Nonetheless she guided me in the area where the Hey Dude section was. It seemed like a large section, but it turned out they didn't have the same shoes so I settled for some Wendy glitter in baby pink ones. Apparently that day these were on sale due to "National Pink Day" (not kidding) because even though they were the same price as what my brother bought on his receipt, I ended up with some cash back. The exchange was a quick, painless process. It's a newer Shoe Dept in Hobbs, NM, next to one of the fire stations. I only knocked off a star because you have to ask for panty hose liner from the front registers if you're not wearing socks. Plus some of their aisles were in a bit of disarray. Loyalty program is available. They do have the Brannock foot measuring devices here! Haven't seen those in forever it seems. Can't wait to see if they have any in my daughter's size because she has been dying for a pair.
