I do enjoy going to this location. Staff is nice and helpful. You don't have a lot of them just randomly throughout the place but when you go and pay they are nice. Stopped by the Marshall's in Maple Grove around 5pm on a Saturday while I was in the area. I don't usually shop at Marshall's as there aren't really many and it's always a hit or miss, but this location seemed larger than others I've been to. The store was bright, clean, and well-organized. Clothing and shoe selection was pretty solid, though the home section didn't have much to offer. The quick interaction with staff was fine during checkout for my earring purchase. I always love when I find great deals at Marshall's. If I'm in the area again, I'd likely make a stop here. read more

Very disappointed! This Marshalls in Maple Grove store is extremely disorganized and rather empty. My boyfriend and I came in to shop for clothing for my boyfriend. We like Marshall's for men's clothes because they Marshalls always seem to have a good of selection of men's clothes ... but... today we found the clothes at the Marshalls in Maple Grove to be very disorganized and picked over...and we ended up leaving empty-handed. We headed over to the Marshalls store in Crystal instead which had a whole lot of selections and styles and sizes. Will not be back. read more

Worst customer service ever!! Went to find a specific purse, the racks were empty. Employee standing there with a big bin of purses. Asked if these were the only purses & started looking at purses in the bin. "I can't have you look through the bin". No offer to help find something- nothing. I said "Ok, I just won't shop here" & walked out & will never go back. read more

I am a SERIOUS shopper.... years ago in the '70's i started out as a personal shopper store wide at 58 th Street NYC Bloomingdales. So i know textiles, quality of construction, price points. And this Marshalls is not getting the quality merchandise they used to get / years ago. Women's clothing us almost a disaster. Fabric, construction, wearability after repeated washing, poor poor poor. I now rate this dept a one star. I stopped looking.. Luggage: used to be one of their top departments where every now and then you found quality labels and some very good construction. Rate a 3 star. Men's clothing you must read labels, examine fabric construction quality VERY carefully i rate a 4 star. All shoes are simply terrible, a one star. Don't even look. Women's lingerie under garments: HUGE drop in quality . Bras have inferior non stretching elastic, most of inventory has manufacturing defects ( must try on), very poor materials. Rate one star. Women's sleep wear: hunt VERY carefully, this was a top dept. rate 3-4 star. Read labels, examine quality of fabrics carefully. Bedding towels: this WAS a 5 star area, now 2-3. VERY high prices, very poor boring selection of prints styles colors. HUGE disappointment. Decorative/ kitchen/ housewares: one of the only areas which is still good. Hunt very carefully, some prices are TOO high. Rate 3-5 star Food products: WAS my favorite, now a 4 star. watch out for very high prices. Some items are poor low quality mfg trying to copy the " look" of famous $$ brands. Lotions /hair products/ face creams/ soaps: The MOST drastic change of all with many products disguised with copy cat labels of expensive brands WHEN in fact... they are poorly made cheaply in CHINA where ingredients for safety etc are poorly monitored. Take GREAT care what you apply to your face. Rate one star. These changes have happened very very fast in the last 18 months- 2 years. Read your sunday sale fliers for bargains at Target, Macy's, Walgreen Target's cosmetics have improved a lot and at decent price points. Marshalls is trying to increase their profits by stocking with pretty packaged decorated designed colored " pretend" products made very poorly in China. READ labels VERY carefully. Take more time to hunt CAREFULLY. There are still some good buys, just not as many. read more

All #Marshall's are not created equally. This location is clean and tidy-there's no digging for designer labels at this location. The shoes are neatly merchandised at the front of the store, and they have a variety of women's shoes, and a lesser, but minimal selection of men and kids shoes. The housewares section is decent, and unlike many a Marshall's, this store has employees who are there if you need a dressing room, a checkout cashier or other service. I would NOT describe this Marshall's as the place to find special deals on hard to find designer labels. But, if you like discounts without digging, be sure to stop here. read more

I love their clearance! It's kind of a hit or miss store but they always have good deals if you know where to look..

As someone who frequents many Marshalls stores, i'd have to say this is one of my least favorites. I can never find where anything is and there is a limited supply of dresses and coats. Most of the houseware aisles are half filled with broken or out of date clearance items while the rest only provide about a fourth of a selection as other stores i've seen in the past. They have a big selection of leggings and shoes though, so I guess if that's what you're looking for then this is your place. read more

Oct.16, 2018: I bought my sister a light blue Le Creuset for a birthday gift ( $ 149.99) but got the wrong size so after a week, went to this MARSHALLS in The Fountains at MAPLE GROVE to return or exchange it, with the receipt and all. This old woman, claiming to be the Assistant to the Manager named SHIRLEY talked down on me saying she cannot accept it since it was used. I was aghast since it did not even show signs of any scratch or stains. The sticker was still even there so if it was even ever used, it would show signs of wear and tear which would be very obvious of any used item. I wanted to get to the bottom of what she was seeing that I cannot see but she TURNED HER BACK and dismissed me. I told her this was unacceptable because I know her claim is not true and it was really never used. But she just turned her back and ignored to discuss what she is seeing that I don't. I asked her if I could speak to the Manager and she gave me that demeanor to not waste my time because I will not be entertained at all. It is bad enough she made a false​ claim but to speak loud enough to attract attention was unacceptable. I have a slim history of returning things as it is a waste of time but this was one of the few times I did and I get this? It made me​ wonder if she did not like to return the item because​ it was a high​ priced item and having worked at William Sonoma, I know that returns are not good for a store's bottom line. But still, I know I had a valid claim and I will not stand for her rude behavior. If I could upload a picture here to show the item to prove it is brand new and unused to prove my point, I gladly would. I will still go back and have this resolved because​ I know her claim is not true. I cannot and will not stand for such rude, disrespectful behavior from that old woman and such response is unacceptable because I know my claim is valid. FOLLOW UP: October 18, 2018 I went to the Marshalls store in Crystal, MN and the manager named Mark B. gladly accepted the return and did not see anything wrong with it. He could not believe it was not accepted and did not see any stain or scratches in it. I have written a complaint about​ that Shirley to the Head Office ( Regional​ Sales Manager) so she better know how to respond to customers in the future. read more
