However most clothes I've bought form this shop have ripped within a few weeks of buying them. Every electrical item I've bought such as a hair dryer and mp3 player I've had to take back. The quality of their products is highly dubious. It has to be said though that the staff have no qualms with people returning goods and are more than happy to exchange or refund if need be. It just irritates me when shops sell products that aren't going to last because it's a waste of resources.

It isn't the largest store and it really does have the jumble sale look, especially upstairs in the homewares section. It's a shame as TK Maxx are by far my favourite UK retailer - apart from the poor aspects of this store they generally sell absolutely brilliant goods at excellent prices. They have a poor returns policy, so make sure you keep your receipt, and you must return items withing 14 days. Oh yeah, take a bag with you too or it'll be 6p!

It's a bit of a funny store: it isn't 'budget' cheap stuff, but it isn't expensive either. It's in the same sort of boat as BHS in terms of quality and price. I love Mackays baby stuff (I'll never call it M&Co!). They've got a really cute selection, and although it isn't cheap they do greatly reduce their sale items, so it's well worth visiting regularly. This store is a fair size and has womenswear and childrenswear, but no men's dept. Nice, spacious and clean, and staff were always pleasant when I've been there.
