From the moment I walked in, the…read moreatmosphere was warm, welcoming, and everything you hope for when shopping for your wedding dress. My stylist Samantha was absolutely incredible -- patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping me find the right dress. She listened to everything I had to say and made the entire experience feel personal and special. Michelle was equally wonderful and made sure every detail of my appointment was taken care of. I'm originally from the Pittsburgh area but now live in Richmond, Virginia, and I drove up specifically to come to Sorelle -- my sister bought her dress here back in 2016 and I always knew this was where I wanted to go when my turn came. It lived up to every expectation. My future sister-in-law was with me and was so impressed that she's already planning to come back for her own dress shopping for her 2027 wedding. What truly sets Sorelle apart is how they treat their customers as people, not just transactions. When I ran into an unexpected situation after my appointment, they handled it with an incredible amount of grace, professionalism, and genuine kindness that I will never forget. Small businesses like this are rare, and they deserve every bit of your support. If you are looking for a bridal salon where you will feel cared for from start to finish, look no further than Sorelle. They have earned a customer for life in my family.

Two employees -- including a manager -- showed her mom "how to zip the dress" and reassured her that the zipper didn't need to be replaced. The hook and eye also needed to be secured but weren't. Come the day of HOCO, the zipper completely gave out at the damaged prong, leaving the entire zipper broken. This was not an ideal situation for a teenage girl moments before her senior HOCO - running to buy supplies, getting sewn into her dress last minute, smeared make up, rescheduling group photos - stress and things that could have (should have) been avoided by simply replacing a zipper. Of course, no refund was offered, only the option to have the zipper repaired -- too little, too late. This should have been fixed before selling the dress. If something feels off with an item, trust your gut. Look over your garment and make sure everything is in place as is was promised to be. They seem to be more focused on selling at full price than on what happens after you walk out the door.

The items were unsold and leftover from Saks Fifth Avenue stores, and the prices are discounted. For a few years, I have occasionally shopped here. During my most recent visit, an employee immediately greeted me when I entered the store. I browsed the women's clothing, handbags, and beauty products. I found some nice merchandise but did not need anything (I already have many clothes at home!). I ended up purchasing only two pairs of fuzzy socks for $8 total. The cashier called me over, accurately rang up my purchase, and thanked me.

This has to be a joke. I think it is funny that people believe this is an outlet store. What…read morehappened that outlet stores are not longer actually outlet stores? I expect to walk in and find items at a lesser price and end up just being disappointed. I honestly just came in here to browse with nothing really in mind, but ended up walking out soon there after. I looked over a few items and even contemplated buying a pair of sweatpants. I did not. Let me tell you why. I looked them over, up and down to make sure they weren't irregular in any manner. Liked the design, not sure of the brand. The size was right, color what I wanted. But when I looked at the price tag, I put them back and headed for the door. See, the price tag had a clearance sticker over the original price. On top of this item being in an outlet store, it was also on clearance, that should equate to some deep discounts. Well, the person before me to look these sweatpants over was a little more thorough than myself. They looked over the price tag pretty extensively. To the point that they even lifted up the clearance tag to see what the original price was. Clearance: $119, Original: $119. Not only was there no outlet store price, it was not on clearance either. Stores do this on the regular to trick you into thinking you are getting a bargain to get rid of an item that might be the last of them that linger in the store. If I wanted to pay that price I would have went to the regular store, wherever the nearest one might be. I don't know why I always disappoint myself by going to an outlet. If I wanted the mall experience I could have at least gone to an indoor one and had air conditioning on this hot day.

The permanent businesses include mostly small, local stores and only some national businesses such as Kay Jewelers, Marshalls, and Rural King. Many small vendors had set up tables to sell crafts, foods, and other homemade items. This mall does NOT contain enough stores for me to purchase everything that I need and want, but I still enjoyed walking around this mall, people-watching, and buying some goods. The parking lot had A LOT of pot holes and much trash. With all of the other customers' vehicles, I had to drive around for several minutes to find a spot.

To the point where it's more of a walking track than it is a mall. Years ago this was the place to be in the Washington area. Filled to the brim with stores that were desirable. I think what was a downfall of this place was a combination of a few things that happened in the area. The first was the failed shopping complex in South Strabane. Before its demise, it drew customers away. The next thing that caused decline would be the opening of the Tanger Outlets nearby. That pulled customers from here that had long standing stores that opened up in the outlet mall. Then the one of the worst things that could happen was that anchor stores started to fall. Gander Mountain closed up, followed by Macy's, then out went Bon-Ton and finally Sears just closed up last year. So yeah, this place has suffered many blows as of recent. What counts for an anchor store here now are the likes of Marshalls and Ross Dress For Less. I suppose you can say that the movie theater is an anchor and maybe whatever Rural King is. But as for the stores in between. They have become more and more of the mom and pop variety. It's better than a dead mall. They are trying. The one thing that surprised me was the food court. It actually is thriving. I don't think there was one empty spot there and it was a good variety. The building still looks the same from the last time it was renovated. With the upkeep they have been doing, this building has held up. It's actually kind of nice and feels vibrant. I hope that in the future this place rebounds. Especially with the proximity to the minor league ballpark nearby. There should be more around to do.
