I reached out to Dr Ray, a Neurologist at this facility about my medical health, and anger that just started appearing, seemingly out of nowhere. I arrived 2 hrs early for my appointment with my wife. When our time came, we interviewed with a nurse and we're left in an exam room. An hour and a half later, we were informed that Dr Ray had stepped out on an "emergency ", which evidently included lunch, as we saw her entering the lobby from the parking lot. My antidepressants and antianxiety meds backfired a few days later, ruining my life. Since then, all I have received is belligerent, and animosity from her and the front desk staff. They even tried to hold on to my Driving Skills results for an extra six months, so I couldn't drive, or rent a car for travel. Okay Doc. If that is how it is...See you in Court. Sat in the ER for 5 hours with chest pains and heart palpitations, more than 10 people went back before me and I just sat in pain. Ended up leaving and going somewhere else. They don't care about urgent things, they want you to sit and deal with your issues. Overpriced. Nice facility and everyone was friendly enough but they billed me double the amount that my regular cancer clinic does in Minnesota. I was looking for a new Oncologist closer to home and I was billed $800 to have the doctor tell me that he doesn't have the right skill set to take over my treatment. The bill for labs was about average but they don't get lab results very fast. Why see the doctor if he can't see your lab results and talk about them? read more

What a miserable health care organization. I made an appointment for an immunization that I was going to need based on travel. I had called several times before seeing if I could just come in to have the injection administered. They refused to do so unless I had a consult, so I was booked for a 15 minute appointment. When I arrived I waited and saw a nurse pracitioner who informed me that I wouldn't be able to receive the injection because I'd already had another booster administered in the last 90 days. Ok annoying but that's good know. He proceeded to give me about 20 minutes of travel consultation. That I did not need or ask for. We read over the CDC website together. Didn't seem like the brightest guy, but I get that health care organizations are trying to cut down on the cost of care by using LPN's and PAs instead of MDs these days. Unfortunately, my insurance was out of network did not cover this type of visit and I was penalized for not having a primary care physician there. The only in network insurance is their in house HMO, Security Plan (which is what I imagine the mafia calls their extortion payments as well) I was billed $169 for 30 minutes of chit chat. I asked the billing department and they bill the same for consults with specialists as they do with nurses. Looks like they don't pass those savings on to the consumer. Furthermore, even though they most certainly have a lower negotiated rate with insurance companies, they were unwilling to offer that to me or discount the service in any way. I've been unemployed and the only advice they had for me was to apply for Badgercare (i.e. Medicaid) the state funded health insurance program to which they pay $0 in taxes thanks to their "non-profit" status. This type of closed-loop, our-way-our-the-highway health care wouldn't be such an issue if patient choice actually existed. The reality is this "non-profit" organization only exists in rural areas of Wisconsin where access to providers is limited and often the only choice within miles is the Marshfield Clinic. (they've been sued on anti-trust violations numerous times and in '95 BCBS of Wisconsin was awarded $48.6 million in damages) Furthermore, when they move into an area they often employ classic rent-seeking behaviors in the way of extorting tax incentives from the cities they colonize. (e.g. when they moved into Rice Lake, WI they 'acquired' Lake View Medical Center, a non profit center with over 75$ million in estimated assets, for ZERO dollars) Essentially, their tactic was give us your hospital or we will move in and run it out of business. Easy to do when you essentially own the insurance market in the area. In summary, I'd say go elswhere for health care. But you likely have few options. read more

They put me in a very uncomfortable room while I am in immense pain, and didn't at all react as though it was urgent. I will never come here again in my life. I don't recommend anyone coming here at all. read more

Would not send a dog here, they are not part of VA mission act network and dont bother to tell you, and then wont help you sort it out. 291.00 for 5 minutes with a doctor and then really poor service when you need their help in figuring out what went wrong with insurance, I clearly stated I had insurance through the VA mission act, they are not part of that network and did not bother to tell me. Tha VA sign they have should be removed it is misleading and I wonder if they do that on purpose. I would not trust them. read more

The doctors are good, but making an appointment is FRUSTRATING! It take ten to fifteen minutes "on hold" just to get transferred to the department you're calling (which then takes ANOTHER ten to fifteen minutes for THAT department to answer). This has happened EVERY time I've called for the past two years. When I complain, I'm told that they are "currently understaffed". Well apparently they've been understaffed for two years. I am thinking about changing service providers because of this issue. read more

Clean open & feels like it's a modern medicine facility. Urgent Care is located in this location as well. My only remark would I wish there were more services here, I dislike that if I need other specific services I have to go to other locations. Would be nice to have everything in one place. read more

Worst service I have ever received in my life. I waited at Urgent Care for an hour and 45 minutes. As I was sitting there I was already feeling terrible with chills, nausea, headache, sore throat, etc. After I finally got in the first nurse decided to do a strep test, in which she shoved the swab aggressively into my throat to the point where tears were rolling down my face. She took some vitals, but did not inform me what any of them meant. When the nurse practitioner came in 30 minutes later she told me my test was negative, and then told me I had the option to choose to do bloodwork to test for mono. I opted out because I wouldn't ever let Marshfield Clinic test me for anything again. Throughout this whole appointment, no one took my temperature once. This facility is a complete joke and I advise everyone not to go. read more

Saw a Dr. in Women's health and was rude and disrespectful. Made fun of my age being a young parent and told my daughter to change her lifestyle because she was to active. Will not bring my dying dog there!!!! Made a complaint and they completely protected the doctor. Very rude and unprofessional read more
