Absolute worst. Reminds me of a public county hospital. Rude registration staff. Rushed, botched…read moresurgery that I had to have corrected at Aurora Summit. My husband and I had a terrible and sad experience. Zero customer service. My husband was…read moreadmitted to the hospital at about 3:00 a.m. and I found out at 12:00 p.m. when I found a text from the assisted living facility where he resided. There was no attempt to call me from the hospital from 3:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. when I called the hospital I found out he was having a cardiac cath. When I got to the hospital he was still in the cath lab. When he returned to his room he was in critical condition with a perforated artery in his heart. The cardiologist, Dr. Volkert? Very poor experience with him. He wasn't kind, he wasn't really interested in speaking with us until he had no choice as he made arrangements to fly my husband to UW Madison. I obtained his medical record and after reading them I have many questions that may never be answered. There are irregularities in charting related to obtaining consent. He was very hard of hearing and had Parkinson's dementia. Who is responsible to make sure families are called and informed of their loved ones being in the hospital? My husband died at 6:30 p.m. at UW Hospital in Madison. The one bright spot in this mess was his nurse, Chad, to whom I will be eternally grateful. He kept me updated about every detail of what was happening to my husband.

Let me save you all some time. First of all, this first consultation is not free as advertised. If…read moreyou make an appointment with them, they will send you a bill. My bill was for $221. If you were to call them and question your bill, they will tell you that the only part that was free was a part of your initial visit that they call a consultation. They will tell you this even though during your initial visit that you were told everything was free, including another visit where they discuss the results of your initial visit. They are classic bait and switch practitioners and scammers. I would also like to mention just in case you are not aware and because you will not see it anywhere in their advertisement that this is a Chiropractic office and not a medical doctor's office.

I recommend being careful with them. They make you pay upfront before filing to the insurance and…read moredo not refund if the procedure was not payable per their contract and the EOB/EOP clearly shows is not billable to the patient. Watch your EOBs!! Also, they seem to recommend back braces to many people that they don't even attempt to go through the insurance and charge a high 3 digit amount for. And, their big ticket push is stem cell therapy. It's out of pocket item. Also, they charge an office visit for chiropractic every four weeks - even when there's no additional evaluation done. If your visit isn't longer than the average 3-4 minutes for the adjustment, you shouldn't be paying an office visit on top of it. One last thing - they told me my x-rays showed 5 curvatures that were VERY concerning and needed all these treatments. I have since had two other providers look at the results and advise they there is nothing concerning. That it's normal in aging!! Yes, they are friendly, but their practices are questionable. Beware!
