Thankfully the hosts were kind to order us a fresh batch and we packed it for to go. Our fave dish was the okoy and pasta! We came in on a weekday and there were 7 of us! Beautiful restaurant!

The sign was small and we almost passed it. What caught my eye was the building blanketed in vines, yeah, I like plants. We parked in front and walked through the entrance into a large room with a very high ceiling. The best way I could describe the place is that it's something between a conservatory and barn with antique furnishings. The low lighting and candles gave the dining area a cozy feeling. Staff are friendly and helpful. There are many servers, that are all willing to help you with your needs. The table for two is tiny, so I had to ask for an extra chair to rest our purses on, to make room for our food. WE SHARED: - Mango shake was thick and sweet. - Sicilian salad with mango, grapes and candied nuts. We don't know what made this salad Sicilian, but it was tasty nonetheless. - Aglio Olio pasta with olive oil, garlic and shrimp was good After our meal the staff gave us the freedom to roam the grounds. On the second floor is the Hamanda Hotel, a boutique hotel owned by a Swede who happens to be an interior designer. We enjoyed our lovely lunch at The Souq: good food, decent prices and nice ambiance.

For a first time visit, the dining experience wasn't to our expectations or we came at a bad time. When we arrived, there was no one to seat us in the main dining area, so we just stood there and waited. It was not busy, only one table with a few people was occupied. We saw employees in the back gathered together just talking. They looked at us, but kept talking for awhile until, finally, a guy helped us. He wasn't welcoming or offered any assistance. We had to ask questions. Right away, we got bad vibes here, and said the hype on this place is very misleading. Anyway, we ordered fried crispy bangus, steamed rice, chop suey and buko pandan. The bangus wasn't as crispy and the chop suey had too much cornstarch in it that made the sauce too thick - gross. Only positive is the nice parking attendant who guided us parking the car and holding an umbrella above my head from the heat and extreme sun. This place is a big NO for us. The place wasn't hard to find and the gardens are nice. They had a large snake, I think a boa or python in a cage for those who want to be amused.

Disappointing Experience - Would Not Recommend…read more This was by far one of the worst dining experiences I've had. The fried rice tasted like leftover food from a previous event--cold, clumpy, and unappetizing. The crispy crab was overly salty, the pinakbet was watery and lacked flavor, and to top it off, the buko juice was warm. Service was equally disappointing; we waited over an hour for our food, and the staff seemed indifferent. Overall, a complete letdown. I won't be coming back. Waist of my ti.e and Money From Kate, NYC i should give a zero star

I had the Thai tea (recommended by the bobarista) and my bf had the cookies-and-cream milk tea. Both were rich, decadent, creamy, and sweet! The employees informed us in advance that the Thai tea takes 7 minutes, and it was worth the wait :) Even with the additional time, our order was ready relatively quickly. They also were so kind to wipe and clean the table for us, as the previous guests had left all their trash. There are a good amount of seats in front of the cafe, however, they fill up fast (and I can definitely see why- we came an hour out of the way to try Serenitea and were so happy with the experience!)

I was on the second floor of SM City Clark next to the movie theater when I spotted this small stall. I was thirsty and my feet needed a rest; they had tables and chairs, I thought I'd stop and try them out. Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful, especially since it was my first time: she told me what was popular, and which combinations were recommended. With her help, I decided on a iced Green apple green tea (jasmine), moderate brew (you can choose the strength of your tea) at 50% sugar, with the complimentary nata (you can also choose tapioca pearls). This was a refreshingly delicious drink! Brewing their tea makes a big difference in taste; no powdered instant stuff for me, thanks. I'm excited to come back to try their Burmese milk tea, Aloha series with fresh fruit, cookie brûlée drinks, brown sugar taho, and a drink to add panda cotta to.
