They have the best children's program in the area with instructors who clearly know how to connect with and motivate kids! MAW has a very good Mixed Martial Arts program with a foundation in South Korean Tae Kwon Do. They teach a proprietary program invented by Grandmaster YK Kim. This is not a traditional Kukiwon-type program. MAW has its own poomse. Students are taught and allowed to punch from the start. There is less emphasis on elegant but ineffective kicks. There is grappling, but it is not Brazilian Ju Jitsu. Nor is it the "ground and pound" MMA you might see on UFC TV. They work well with all ages and abilities.
