We've used Independent for years & were happy until recently when their service declined. They let…read moreus know we could get a lower price on home & auto ins. so we trusted them to switch us in 2024. Previously they had us with Farmers and Merrimack mutual which we were happy with. Since they switched us to this shady company Arbella we've had nothing but problems and the run around when we made a claim for wind damage to our roof. Prior to the claim They sent out an inspector (which they never did prior) then began making demands we clean up the yard, replace the roof and get rid of our laying hens because they were a liability. They have been intrusive & playing the middle man between us & the insurance company instead of letting us deal with the insurance directly. Definitely steer clear of this company.
