Why are they using personnel, that are making errors? It can't be that hard to place someone in the role that won't make mistakes that can cause customers possible tax liabilities!!!

Previously in 2018 I visited Jackson Hewitt in Belleville near downtown and the preparer completely…read morescrewed up my paperwork and was later fired for it ... so of course I didn't want to return this year I visited the Swansea Location and find out there were fees from 2018 not taken out .... Plus current fees that are being paid ... when I called to speak to the person preparing my paperwork (Leigh Anne .. nicest person ever) someone else ( Danielle) decided to try and put me on the phone with the GM .. when I told them I didn't want to speak with her ... I only wanted to deal with ( Ms Leigh Anne ) I got attitude and smart mouth conversation in the background because Danielle forgot to mute.. Nobody cares about titles anymore we only care about good Customer service ... thanks but no thanks to the smart mouth GM! Now that the paperwork is settled you can let corporate know . This is why I will never return. No discount after my paperwork was screwed up and horrible customer service from the Gm! Pulling my chair out was a nice brush over!

We had a 12:00 appointment yesterday. Showed up 10 minutes early, saw a "No Waiting" sign in the…read morewindow. Good omen, you'd THINK. Walked in, checked in. Two preparers...both busy, including the one that we had an APPOINTMENT with. How does that mean no waiting? What, if you don't have an appt, another preparer magically appears? Anyway...we wait for 30 minutes. Not a peep from the overpaid "receptionist". Not a..."We'll be with you in 5 minutes"..."We'll be with you in 30 minutes". Nothing. We went outside and set an appt with Jackson Hewitt that is right across the street. We packed up our stuff and left. Still...no comment from anyone as we headed for the door. I WAS a loyal customer. I can understand how appointments run long, I get it. But...why in the world can't you find out how long the wait is going to be and come tell us? Do we wait in the lobby? Do we go next door and grab lunch? We chose to leave and not come back. We've been using H&R Block for 10+ years. Now a competitor has our business. I'd give no stars if I could. A business that didn't service us at all doesn't even deserve the one star minimum that I have to give.
