I came here for several sessions. All my appointments were with Damien he is great quick, punctual & to the point. I always left feeling much better and definitely did notice a difference in my pain and posture. However, although my appointments were scheduled with Damien I would consistently get placed with Damaris who always ran late and I just felt like the adjustments weren't as great. Considering I have a baby and I would arrange everything to get there at my specific appointment time her running behind and the skill just wasn't the same. read more

Started seeing Dr. Damaris Sabater for an accident in 2014 for about 3-4 months, and now I am back again, unfortunately. Dr. Sabater has excellent bedside manners, she is very knowledgeable, and is never in a rush to push you out the door! Very disappointed with the treatment I received on my third visit with Dr.Krahn. The staff were very friendly and Dr. Sabater greeted me on my first visit. We went through my results of an MRI test I had prior to seeing them and she adjusted my back. Dr. Martinez was suggested to me when my previous Chiropractor had moved away. I explained to Dr. Sabater that even though she recommended me go in at least twice a week; my other doctor's visits and work schedule would make it difficult to come in any other day but Monday. She suggested I tried to come in more often and I said I would try. The second week I was treated by Dr. Krahn on a Monday and I set an appointment with Daniel for the following Monday. On my third visit is when I had an very uncomfortable ordeal with Krahn. He said that I needed to come in more than once a week and I explained to him the situation. I said to him that I would try but that on some occasions I could get by with one visit. He said to me that if I'm coming in with no back problems than they would have to bill me full price and not apply the insurance copay. I looked at him with disbelief. I said that my MRI clearly shows that I do have a back problem. Was he trying to intimidate me? To coerce me to come in just so that he could reach his weekly quota?!? In all the times that I have been treated by chiropractors I've never had someone say something so stupid and inconsiderate abut my back problems. A professional, no matter what practice, should treat the patient as an individual with a physical health issue and not just another quota! I am very disappointed with his lack of professionalism. Well I am a lovely procrastinator especially when it comes to my back, but the time came where I was like ok I need to be seen by a chiropractor and boy did I hit the lotto at the Martinez Chiropractor Center. Thankfully with my insurance, my co-pay is a steal. Dan, who's in the front is the nicest, most welcoming person. He is beyond helpful. New patients get a nice welcome message on their board. Dan also gave me a tour of the entire facility and was awesome at letting me know when I'd be seen. Now it did take some time, but I was forewarned seeing I came in on a Tuesday. They usually see new patients on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays. I had a full review of posture, stretching and reflexes, I had X-rays done and reviewed by the chrio. Then we went to have my first adjustment which was great and eye opening at what I had been causing myself by not going for regular adjustments. Note they offer classes on how to improve ones overall back and they go over your X-rays thoroughly one on one. I'll be doing that extensive class next week. I definitely recommend this clinic for its staff, expertise and it's location. read more

I went to a chiropractor when I was a kid and I always felt that he was a joke. Looking back, he probably did more harm than good for me. While I'm a big fan of alternate medicine that departs from the standard drug-em-up-and-cover-up-their-symptoms practice of Western Medicine, I know that it's hard to find quality, reputable resources; you can get caught up in some money eating bullshit. When I started having some continued back pain that hasn't gone away since my military days, Jax (SO) introduced me to Dr. Martinez as someone that she has gone to for years and who fixed her sciatica. Let me tell you, this guy knows how to crack your back and neck. He's adjusted many celebrities including Olympic athletes and movie stars; once you get adjusted by him you know why they chose him. Even the doctors that he employs who are still early in their career and are being trained and approved by himself can't hold a flame to his work. I feel great when one of the other doctors adjust me but I feel a hundred times better when he works on me. Another great aspect of Dr. M's office is that they offer both chair and table massages. One of their therapists, Elio, is our go to guy. He has gotten to know us very well both as friends and as patients. He can tell when our shoulders are tense, when we've got abnormal muscular issues, etc. etc. Nothing beats a good adjustment with a relaxing massage. There's been studies that subluxations of the spine can cause nerve damage and can manifest symptoms such as allergies, headaches, etc. If you're looking for an amazing, talented doctor to take care of you, I recommend no other that Dr. Martinez. When I relocate to Coconut Grove, I'll being making the drive to continue to see him. read more
