They have cracks and all of them have not been properly cemented and secured to the ground. * Some of the bottom kickboards have long cracks. These are specific issues with very poor quality of contractor's work: * Many pickets' bottoms are not leveled straight * There is a piece of wood that is laying free and has not been screwed or nailed anywhere * There are screws that are coming through the wood with its sharp end and can injure someone I included just a few pictures to demonstrate the defective materials they used and their very poor quality of work. After filing a complaint with California licensing board, the inspector came to inspect the fence and the contractor paid us to repair the fence per the inspector's report. We recommend to stay away from this company.

We also asked Javier to build us a new gate as the old one had been in place for nearly 20 years. He charged nearly $1,700 for the fence and another $280 for the gate. When I inspected the fence after he and his man left I noticed two warped boards, one with a gap of ~1/4 inch on one side and the other with a gap of over 1/2 inch on both sides. This is supposed to be a privacy fence, and while I'm not too worried about needing privacy from my neighbors, it looks pretty bad to charge that much and not do a perfect job. They also installed the gate backwards, it opens out, with the hasp on the outside, and we want it to open in, with the hasp on the inside so we can put a padlock on it. We can lock it now, but it is extremely inconvenient to have to go out the front door to unlock the gate every time I need to use it. We have called Javier four times to ask him to come out and fix the fence and the gate. Once he told me he would call back to tell me when he could come out and never did, the other three times he actually committed to a date to come out and fix it, the last of which was today. I just got home from work and the gate and fence have still not been fixed. I would not recommend Javier to anyone, except maybe my worst enemy. Also, they used our water hoses, front and back, and did not roll them up after they were done or turn the water off. And, when they first arrived I asked if they could haul away a small amount of trash lumber that has been sitting in the backyard for a few years, He said he would take it when they left. Not only did they not take the lumber that he said they would take, they also filled our trashcan and recycling cans with their scrap lumber and they put trash in our recycling bin that I had to dig out and put in the trashcan in order to avoid a possible fine. AND they trampled a bunch of flowers getting to the hose in the front yard! Lastly, while they were working the first day (it took them two days to do the jab) I went out and emptied the trunk of my car to make room for same recyclables that I was going to turn in. I dropped a couple of empty water bottles on the ground and the older of the two men came over and asked if he could have them. I said no, I'm going to turn them in in a little while and he tried to take them anyway. After they left I found their empty water bottles in our recycling can. I don't know why he tried to steal my bottles when he didn't even take his own with him.

It was a very mild inconvenience to clean up after them, so it's easy to overlook in comparison to the fantastic work on the fence.

I was quoted one price and was then informed that I needed something else with a different price when the installers came out.the price went up $1200 when the installers came out to inspect prior to the project getting started. I explained what I wanted when I spoke with the rep and was quoted something else. The company does not attempt to hear customers out. Their response is "page 6 of the contract you signed." It's pointless to speak with them about anything. I should have went with another company after waiting for almost two hours for someone to get back with me the day of my install but I was tired of looking for someone to do my fence. The fence was supposed to be out in the found but thy did not happen and there is still space at the bottom. I wanted to update my review since Peta, escalation manager reached out to me to try to rectify the situation. Peta sent me a gift basket and submitted a refund of $600 with the hopes that I will take my review down. I informed her that thanks for that but I will not take my review down. On the contrary, a day after speaking and receiving text messages from Peta. I noticed that cats were getting in my backyard and was wondering how. I went to my backyard only to find two pieces of my fence missing. I reached out to Peta via text and still have not received a response. My fence was completed on 7/16. How could it already get broken. This is insane to me when I was informed the wood is sturdy.

But they also spent a lot of energy preserving what they could the prices were very good considering what we were expecting and also like I said they saved what they could or recycled it and used it. I'm super impressed with the service and value would definitely use them again.
