Dr. Patterson is awesome. She is very patient and takes time to explain everything thoroughly.

I had a very disappointing experience at ConvenientMD in Westbrook. I arrived around 12 PM in…read moresevere back pain, completed the registration process, and waited for nearly two hours while people who arrived after me were seen before me. When I asked for clarification, I was told I wasn't registered, despite having completed everything and being told I was checked in. I also received conflicting information regarding my insurance and reimbursement, and when I asked to speak with a manager, I felt like I was being given the runaround. I also had concerns about private information being discussed across the reception area where others could potentially hear. The most frustrating part is that i left without any information about the reimbursement just a paper and card. The female behind the counter put it down that i was only there for ten minutes. My pharmacy information was also incorrect. I hope management addresses this situation and reviews how patients are being checked in and treated. There was no professionalism and I hope no other colored person has to experience what I did. I wasn't able to get her name but it was the woman who worked behind the front desk today. All the nurses and especially the doctor were very kind and helpful. I really appreciate thoes who helped and listened.

I questioned my co pay and the receptionist was very snarky with her response and I almost left…read moresolely because of that but I didn't. Then you wait and wait and wait. There is nothing quick about this place. The whole experience felt like a business deal to them. What has happened to health care? I would not ever go back here. UPDATE! So my elbow that was X Rayed here and cleared by their radiologist was in fact FRACTURED, so now I have a piece of bone floating on my ulna nerve and have to go have a nerve test done before they can remove the piece of bone. So now I live in pain still until I can get into have the nerve test done and who knows how much longer after that until it gets removed. Today validated why I gave such a bad review and why I will NEVER step foot in a Convenient MD ever again and I'll make sure the word gets out to the best of my ability about the crap care this place gives.

Ive been to just about every mental health facility in MA. This one by far is the best. From the…read morefood to the lights that they use in the ceiling, this place is the destination for healing. If i had to choose between this place or McLean's Hospital, I would chose this one!.

This place is a nightmare…read more I went in because I was having PTSD flashbacks. They misdiagnosed me as schizophrenic, put me on horrible medications that made it so that I was unable to pee, and forced a court order to make me take the medications. This has done permanent damage to my bladder. They say the average stay is 7-10 days, but regularly hold patients for multiple months at a whim. I was bullied by multiple patients, some of whom fought in the hallways or destroyed on-site property. The doctors were quick to impose their own political beliefs on me in order to discredit how I felt about the situation. Some nurses were sympathetic, others openly made fun of patients or pushed strange personal beliefs. Several nurses openly described to me that "the system is broken." When my parents brought things in to cheer me up (prayer beads, art supplies) they were denied randomly. I was taken off medication without being notified or having anyone to consult. Therapy was non-existent, except for group therapy, which was very repetitive and inadequate CBT. We were only allowed outside once a day, where I was harassed by other patients. The only "correctional" value this place has is scaring patients enough into behaving, because of the torturous threat of returning to a place like this.
