We met Marvin while he was estimating another job. He followed us back to our place to take a look at a huge oak that needed trimming badly. We had been getting quotes from other tree trimming places of $500 or more, so when his bid came in at $450, we jumped on it. Between schedules we weren't able to get the tree trimmed for several weeks, but finally the day came. He showed up with two trucks and a full crew. An hour later he was done trimming while the crew grabbed whatever came down and put it in the grinder. They raked, swept and used a blower to make sure the place was in great condition. A fantastic job. This is the first place you should be called to get your yard work done. Marvin is a personable and likable fellow and his crew professional and always smiling. After storm damage to my Silver Maple I called several companies. Marvin Tree returned messages, set an appointment for estimate and showed up on time. Went through what was needed. We agreed on a price and set a date for work to begin. He said, "Monday morning" and they were there Monday morning. Marvin Tree sent a large enough crew to make the job a quick one. They worked like a well oiled machine. What I thought would take all day was cleaned up and over in less than 2 1/2 hours. I am sure the neighbors appreciated not hearing chainsaws all day. I had my HUGE Silver Maple trimmed back, had a huge portion of the tree that was over my house taken out and a lot of weight removed as well as having a large branch on my neighbors Elm which was hanging over my house and dead. They also cleaned out my neighbors Elm that would threaten my property. I highly recommend for customer service and professionalism. read more

Marvin does a great job at removing trees and cleaning them up but his workers do not have respect for your property. One of his workers scratched up my new AC and another worker damaged my lamp post. His worker Adonis came to grind out a tree stump and damaged my lamp post with the stump grinder. I called Marvin to let him know and he didn't seem to care. he said he'd let his worker know but I havent heard back. it's been a week. read more
