Once again having issues await for important mail because there they are stealing checks and always missing mail so today I call asking will mail be delivered they said no ..that the distribution down town didn't brings mail so I call the white American area and mail is going out ..I took off from work today..to watch mail because at the mary Alice post.. The mail carrier didn't even attempt to deliver my package someone was at my home the package weighed over 30 pounds she came from post office with the brown tag already in her hand with no intentions to deliver it ,it was all caught on camera she lied saying no access to my property, and when u lie u steal my license plate sticker is missing went to the post office spoke to supervisor and nothing was done .I explained to them I can't lift over 5 pounds but I was made to because of there lazy lying employee and I need to mention it was raining that day ,my package never left that post office . read more

Today is Thursday Oct 6th, our regular mail lady wasn't, and I watch her fill in throw evry pack she had on the porch of each home. I was in the car watching her and we received a package as well. And guess what, yes, the throwed it on the porch all the while she on the phone. I don't care about her being on the phone. This is not my zip code PO and I now have mail there....do you think they forwarded the mail to my correct zip code?!...NO! Vogue subscriptions missing, mail missing and recently 2 packages stolen that were supposedly "delivered". I made numerous complaints and have yet to see any results. The manager Perry Pointer is a very service oriented guy. Try to connect with him and he can make sure problems are solved. This is an Amazon drop point and we even get Sunday Amazon deliveries. We have a postal lock meaning the Carriers have a key to get into our entry hall. This makes it EASY to get Amazon deliveries when not at home. It is not easy delivering mail in this violent inner city slum. it is not everyones' cup of tea to walk daily through a Chicago war zone. Is possible to leave a negative review? There was nothing positive about having a PO box at this location. They stole mail! They closed my box because I wasn't there for 2 weeks. I had paid for 6 months and only got 3.5 months before they closed it. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN! When I spoke to a supervisor they said they would look into it and get back to me. The subs doesn't deliver all of the mail. I had a package scheduled for delivery. I was standing in my doorway. The mail person literally walked past my house and two other houses and did not deliver any mail. A few minutes later I got a text for the package I was tracking, and it said "no access to property". I have had 3 packages within the last 7 months that was delivered to the wrong address. Did Mr. Pointer try to help me HELL NO. He won't even return the calls. Now this week the same thing another package left at the wrong address and I still can't get any help with resolving this matter. Worst post office every. How in the world does my paper with my student loan information end up at another address with all of my information. I'm glad my neighbors was nice enough to bring it to my house. But all my packages I get seem to never show up I had to follow the damn delivery man and ask him to check his truck for my package 2 days ago. His response is aww I do have it I can give it to you now. That 4 blocks from my house. But I would have been told it was delivered and there's nothing they can do but help my file a complaint. I totally agree its always one person working the window. my mail lady usually rings the doorbell when i have a package, i don`t know if it was someone else or not. The signs posted around this post office are negative and proves that some neighborhoods get the most horrible service because I can go into another area and you will never see a sign that strictly says "YOU CAN RING THE BELL 10 TIMES IF YOU WANT AND NO ONE WILL ANSWER TO YOU ANY FASTER1" THE MANAGER NEEDS A STRONG LESSON ON BEING POLITE. The attitude of the workers at the window is just horrible. I have never walked into a place where they work for you and they treat you and talk to you like TRASH! Something needs to be done because there is NO CLASS when it comes to this post office. I wonder what would happen if they closed this Post Office down and some of these people were forced to work in the downtown office?
