After reading the reviews I decided to use the Self-Service kiosk to avoid any and all social interactions. How wrong I was. After using the kiosk, I tried to deposit my package in the collection box. Guess what? It was locked. Another guy who came behind me was also struggling with it and we both tried to open it but it was locked. Someone nearby then said 'you can just leave it on the counter and they'll grab it for you'. Like we're supposed to know that, but fine. So both of us go and leave the package on the counter. "EXCUSE ME" says the lady behind the counter. Me and the other guy glance at each other. "YOU CAN JUST PUT IT IN THE BOX INSTEAD OF LEAVING IT ON THE COUNTER" (like we're idiots). The other guy says quietly 'the box was locked' and I say louder (to her) "The box was locked". "I'M TALKING ABOUT THAT BIG BROWN BOX IN FRONT OF YOU", she says pointing to the giant box BEHIND the counter (and lower down, so not immediately visible). So me and the dude have to literally THROW our packages into the box behind the counter as she is too lazy to pick up the packages and put them in herself (or perhaps unlock the collection box so they can, you know, collect the packages?) I have a sneaking suspicion they keep the collection box locked so they don't have to 'deal with it' at the end of the day. I quickly made my way out of there. I'd like to say I'll never come back but packages need to be mailed. So now I know I need to be Caleb Williams and toss my package into the giant brown box into the future. read more

CENTER OSSIPEE NEW HAMPSHIRE POST OFFICE CONTINUES TO WITHHOLD OUR MAIL DELIVERY BECAUSE WE FILED A COMPLAINT. We have had nothing but trouble with our carrier not delivering our packages randomly for 3 years. We never confronted her, but only went straight to our post office to try to resolve the issue during this time. they would never do anything. The problem continued. We finally filed complaints with USPS online in early April 2025 and immediately our post office began a campaign of malicious retaliation which is continuing to this day. THIS NON-DELIVER OF OUR PACKAGES HAS NOW GONE ON FOR ALMOST 5 MONTHS. We have one car and are not home during PO hours to get mail. They have not delivered important prescriptions, business packages, etc. THEIR REFUSAL TO DELIVER PARCELS WAS DONE AS A DIRECT RETALIATORY MOVE BECAUSE WE FILED COMPLAINTS. LOREY PENDARVIS, THE POSTAL EMPLOYEE WHO DID THIS MADE UP A FALSE EXCUSE TO JUSTIFY HER RETALIATION. We have a recorded message of her on our answering device admitting this and acting in a unprofessional, malicious manner toward us when she thought she had hung up her phone. There are now additional serious issues with the employees at this post office. We recently had to file a criminal complaint with the Sheriff which is explained below. There were numerous anonymous threatening/harassing phone calls to us from a local member of the public who threatened our animals as well. The resident was someone we did not know and had no interaction with. The criminal complaint was filed with the Carroll County Sheriff, against a local resident who was then confronted by officers at their home. According to the sergeant from Sheriff's dept., "An employee of the Center Ossipee post office gossiped about the Spencers making accusatory, unprofessional, and inflammatory remarks to a member of the community. As a direct result of that, this person took it upon themselves to turn vigilante and committed the illegal serious/threatening act". Sheriff's officers went to their home and they were advised of the serious consequences they would face as a result of their actions. If there was another incident they would be arrested. Local police were also contacted by the Sheriff's Dept. and made aware of this incident and investigation. Copy of the criminal complaint from the Sheriff's office was being sent to the postal authorities. AGAIN, WE REITERATE: WE HAVE NEVER CONFRONTED THIS CARRIER, 'LINDA'. WE HAVE NEVER SPOKEN TO HER. DESPITE THIS SHE CONTINUES HER AGGRESSION, AIDED AND ABETTED BY POSTAL WORKER LOREY PENDARVIS, WHO ALSO MADE UNPROVOKED HARASSING PHONE CALLS TO US. THESE EMPLOYEES ARE INCOMPETENT, DECEITFUL, DISHONEST, AGGRESSIVE, RETALIATORY, AND SHOULD BE FIRED. THEY ARE VIOLATING ALL OF THE USPS EMPLOYEE CONDUCT STANDARDS: (Below/attachments) Here is just one of many comments regarding Center Ossipee Post Office employees withholding/stopping OTHER people's mail delivery in the area because they too complained. Some, like this person remained anonymous due to the same retaliation we are experiencing. (Below) HERE IS A SCREENSHOT FROM SOMEONE ON GOOGLE REVIEWING THE CENTER OSSIPEE POST OFFICE. AS YOU CAN SEE THE ACCUSATIONS ARE PRETTY DISGUSTING. We can also attest that these people are unethical as well as despicable. ...And just one example of incompetence. This post office and these people have terrible reviews all over. (Below). Due to the continued retaliation by Lorey Pendarvis, Center Ossipee New Hampshire post office and not receiving our packages, we cannot file a new complaint using the USPS online. She is immediately informed if we do, and then she takes more steps to try and retaliate against us even more. We have sent information to Washington DC. We hope that someone will read it and see that action needs to be taken, and the employees at this post office replaced. In our 26 years here we have never had such terrible postal workers here and never had any issues in all that time. As a result of unprofessional and inflammatory behavior of this carrier and Ms. Pendarvis, and their decision to gossip and rile up a citizen, the local police and sheriff's dept. had to be involved and a CRIMINAL complaint filed. I had a very disappointing experience at this location on 10/1/2025 at around 4:20 PM. I came in with several packages to ship, and was told to use the self-service machine, which wasn't working for me. The staff eventually assisted, but they were clearly upset about it and treated me very rudely. When I asked for a receipt, one of them rolled their eyes at me. There were a man and a woman working, and they were openly making negative comments about me as if I couldn't hear them. At one point, they told me to put my packages into a box I couldn't locate. When I asked where it was, they sarcastically asked if I was blind. The box was actually behind the counter, out of reach, so I had no choice but to toss the packages toward it. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time I've received poor service here. Every visit seems to come with unprofessional attitudes, and it feels like the employees don't want to do their jobs. While I understand everyone has bad days, this behavior is consistent at this location, which makes me question why it's still open. Who is the manager at this location? read more

I don't usually write reviews but this is not the first awful encounter I've had with the lady that works here (short hair, glasses). Looking at other reviews, I can only imagine I'm not the first to be traumatized by her. She was talking on her phone the whole time so I didn't know who she was talking to and then when she finished scanning my items she just stared at me and then proceeded to yell at me for not telling her I needed a receipt. Like girl I'm not here to go skydiving yes I need a receipt ??? She was acting like I was the one working there lmao it was so bizarre. So if you're scared of going it to the post office because you might get bullied (if you know you know) I would avoid her at all costs because you will in fact get bullied lmao. read more

When you go to drop off a package with the prepaid label, there is a big sign that says where to not put the box. Lady in front is always rude I suppose she's upset about something in her life. This post office lost the passport I was sending in for renewal. Now I have to pay to get an expedited passport. Then the website says they have open hours on Sat from 11am-1pm for passport process but if you actually go in they say it's up to the agent if they want to do open hours and will turn you away without an appt. read more

I am starting to think that you can only get hired here if you answer "Yes, I'm very rude and condescending to customers" on your job application. A requirement, it appears! Went in for stamps. Line is 15+ people long. Looked around in an attempt to find the answer to my question so as to avoid talking to anyone that works there. Couldn't find a stamp display. Quickly asked "do you have the stamps you carry displayed anywhere?" before bothering to get in line (they're out of things all of the time). The dude first says he "can't hear me" then immediately answers the question after stating "you cut in front of people who have been waiting." I responded with "I asked a simple question?" I get all sorts of junk mail in my mailbox with [no] problem. Important mail is always delayed or simply lost. If I didn't pay bills or bank online, I would be in a world of trouble. I recently submitted a ticket about their informed delivery notification that a letter from the Secretary of State had been delivered. No such delivery happened. The response was for me to make sure my address was correct, which was clear and correct on the informed delivery notification. Again, I can get trash delivered with no problem, but everything else ends up wherever. read more

It's a go to place to get your postage and packages since offering the best prices on sending your small packages. They are a bit under staffed many times and long waits if you need a basic question. Best to go online or call the support number for answers to yours questions. Nearly all packages get to their destination eventually if they are temporarily lost. The staff gets abused by their customers queues a few times and so their attitude isn't the best at times. If you go to the post office during best times, they often don't get a break. Other public shipping places cost more under 4 or 5 pounds and so this it the place if you want to ship your smaller packages. They have flat rate boxes which seem high priced and they are not. Spent more time online to get a print out of your label since waiting in line at the post office is painful. Everyone is impatience and so each your packing done at home including getting packing tape on the box. Don't use the usual desktop invisible tape for your packaging done this will not hold up easily during shipping. read more

Well, if you're as entertained by disgruntled postal workers as I am, come here and go out of your way to receive their ire. It isn't hard, I think they're upset that people exist in general. If you don't actually enjoy miserable employees and prefer to be treated like a human rather than an inmate, then maybe try other post offices; because man, these guys are beat down by life, and they hate YOU for their own life decisions. Moving to Logan Square from Edgewater was a huge wakeup call on how bad postal service can impact you. In 60660, packages were on- time and not marked delivered unless it really was. In 60647, mail may come weekly if at all some weeks and I now literally cringe when I see a company wants to ship USPS and if I can get it somewhere else without them, I do. The worst are companies that use USPS for last mile. When I first moved to Logan Square 60647 it was 2021 and At fCovid impacts were still a major issue. After being really confused on getting deliveries notifications on packages which were usually already late and running out to find the package only to not see it anywhere, I eventually learned the game and since it's a multiple-choice guessing game that's again getting worse: a) porch pirate (twice in 2021 but not since), b) USPS wack-a-mole (e.g., you never know where that package will pop up - they put things 15 places), or c) USPS lies (marked delivered hours to days ahead and now in 12/2023, marked as address not accessible which has never been the case - and let's be clear - intentionally marking an incorrect delivery status is a lie). But again, in 2020-2021 most non-Karens had empathy for their fellow workers and accepted things took longer though didn't appreciate the lies on delivery status. Now in 2023, they've upped their deceipt and not just marking things as delivered when they're not, marking them as address not accessible. So I just reported this on their IVR and documented. It took 3 minutes and I'll do this each time and keep the numbers and share. This is a huge shame as I've been a fan of the postal service historically, a stamp collector and similar ,but don't mess with my packages for years and think I'll still fanboy. If your work situation is so bad you can't be nice or do your job, go on strike or do what you need to but don't lie. Finally, this post office is lazy about prior residents I've marked 20 times as not here. They just re-sort and deliver but note you can't throw away someone else's mail. I don't know if I'm supposed to be an unclaimed mail depot but it puts one in a situation where it's impossible to follow. I get that a certain political party keeps trying to put the USPS out of business and makes funding hard with crummy pension laws and similar, but again, don't lie and if it's that bad, look for another job. It sucks but that's what the rest of us have to do. read more

Victor was the man in charge of it and I was with him for maybe 10 minutes trying to get my fingerprints processed through that device they have and he just kept complaining how he doesn't want to keep "doing this" and stating I'm doing something wrong and how it shouldn't be that hard. There was no one else in that line with me and he was being super impatient and I just don't understand why I was told to leave and come back another day when again it wasn't busy and all I had left to attempt were my right 4 fingers. read more

Their hours say they open at 8:30 yet the past month when I've arrived before 9 they aren't open. I've had less than pleasant interactions with most employees.
