It took an unreasonable amount of time to get an appointment, and our stated availability was repeatedly disregarded. When we finally secured a session, we were told the assigned therapist would be out for a week. Shortly after, we learned she had actually left the company entirely. We were then scheduled with Melissa the clinical manager. During that conversation, the provider recommended that the sessions take place at their facility. We clearly declined and explained that we wanted the initial session to occur in our home. After communicating that preference, the appointment was rescheduled. As parents, coordinating therapy appointments requires planning, adjusting work schedules, and arranging childcare. The repeated delays, staff turnover, poor communication, and last-minute scheduling changes showed a complete lack of respect for our time. What should have been a straightforward onboarding process turned into weeks of frustration. If reliability, organization, and communication are important to you, this was not our experience with this provider.

I was so happy to get a call from Riner-Costantino & Associates to set-up and start speech for my son with Lauren. From his very first day to his very last...it has been the best experience. Lauren is very sweet and kind and so so so so SO patient. In the beginning, my husband was really resisting any type of therapy for our son...but now, just a few months later...he is very happy with the progress and results that he has seen. Before speech therapy (and Regional Center), my son only cared about flipping toy cars over and spinning it's wheels. He was never really engaged in activities. Through play, she was able to teach him how to play with cars like a car. She has taught him how to take turns. She's been able to get more eye contact from him. He is still non-verbal...but before speech therapy, he didn't even really babble that much either. NOW ~ he's babbling all the time. Especially if he's complaining about something. He's got a lot to say!!! And he's making new sounds. Before he goes to sleep I listen to him make "S" and "SHH" and "H" sounds. And I swear to you, I've even heard what sounds like a "thank you". I cried that day. We have a long way to go ~ but to see what she was able to bring out in our son!! JUST AMAZING!! And the best best best part is that my son LOVES Ms. Lauren. He was always excited for speech class. He was always excited to see his teacher. As soon as he would see her, his face would light up and he'd go up to her, reach for her hand and was ready to walk to the room for his session. He never wanted to leave actually. I will never forget Ms. Lauren and all the amazing things she's done with our son. The growth I've seen in him. We are so fortunate and grateful and thankful for Ms. Lauren and Riner-Costantino. She taught him so much more than speech and language. Now that my son is 3, we no longer get to see Ms. Lauren. But if we still could, trust me...we would!!

She explained the reason for everything, and the proceeded to make sure I was completing exercises to the best of my ability. I appreciated her kind yet firm professionalism. She was the best PT person ever! I also had a few interactions with Chris whom I really appreciated as well. He was always professional and again, very kind. All their precautions during this scary time of Covid where adhered to - they both made me feel very safe in their care. I applaud Superior Home Health and especially Rhoda and Chris.
